Today is the last day for the crowdfunding campaign to digitally archive "Blocker Legion IV Machine Blaster." Let's all fund it and get the Blu-ray!

Crowdfunding for the digital archiving of "Blocker Gundan IV: Machine Blaster," an animation produced and licensed by Nippon Animation, will close today, February 26, 2021, at 23:00.

Blocker Gundan IV: Machine Blaster" was the first robot animation produced by Nippon Animation, broadcast from 1976 to 1977 on the Fuji Television network, and celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2021.
The alien Mogul has been hiding at the bottom of the earth's ocean for 200 million years. An empire led by its empress, Hell Queen V, aims to conquer the earth. In response, Dr. Yuri formed the Machine Blaster, a super-powered robot army that would serve as a "shield of world peace" based on research left behind by his late friend, Dr. Hojo, and the benevolent ancient Moghul Nostrah.

This project is a crowdfunding campaign to preserve the film for posterity by scanning the 16mm negative film used at the time of its broadcast in 1976 and digitizing it.
⇒Crowdfunding for the digitization of "Blocker Gundan IV: Machine Blaster," celebrating the 45th anniversary of its broadcast, will be conducted! Recruitment began on January 19 (Tue.) on READYFOR!

In addition to the limited-edition goods newly produced for this project and the first preview film, Blu-ray containing one selected episode has been added to the return items starting February 12.
The work (one episode) to be made into Blu-ray was decided based on the opinions of the investors solicited at the time of support. The Blu-ray contains three patterns of images: SD version, film scanning material, and HD remastered version. The Blu-ray includes three different versions: SD, film scanning, and HD remastered.

However, as of 4:36 p.m. on February 26, the amount of investment raised was 1,989,000 yen (......), compared to the target amount of 3 million yen!
Since this project is an all-or-nothing project, the executor can receive the collected support money only if the target amount is reached, and if the target amount is not reached, the project will fail. The opportunity for "Blocker Gundan IV: Machine Blaster" to be digitally archived will probably be lost!
This is a great loss in the animation world! Let's participate in the crowdfunding campaign to keep "Machine Blaster" alive for future generations!
