Akiba Research Institute is currently running a giveaway campaign in which two winners will win a PS5 version of "Yakuza7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness International".

Sega will release "Yakuza7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness International" (hereinafter referred to as "Yakuza7") for PS5 on March 2, 2021 (Tuesday), based on the international version of "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" and adapted for the Japanese market.

Based on the Western version of "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" and adapted for the Japanese version, this title adds "PREMIUM NEW GAME" and "Super Final Millennium Tower," which were available as paid downloadable content (DLC) for the PS4 version.

In addition, frame rate and resolution have been improved, and load times have been shortened, allowing players to enjoy "Yakuza7" in an even more comfortable playing environment.

Game Introduction

This game depicts a profound story unique to the "Yakuza" series, in which the protagonist "Ichiban Kasuga", who has lost everything, rises to the top with his many friends and crushes a great evil with his centripetal force.

The "Dragon" fight battles have entered a new stage!

The battles have evolved into "live command RPG battles," combining the familiar fighting action of the "Yakuza" series with RPG gameplay that anyone can enjoy, and even though it is an RPG, everything in the city never stops for a moment, and dynamic, high-speed battles unfold in real time. Enjoy exhilarating and profound new strategic battles with flashy special moves, "job changes," "delivery help," and more.

The new areas are full of fascinating games!

This title takes place in Yokohama Isesaki Ijintmachi, a vast new area more than three times the size of Tokyo's Kamurocho.
The series' popular play spots, such as the exhilarating "Dragon Kart," where players blast through the streets of Yokohama in a modified kart, are newly introduced! In addition, the series' popular Pachislot play spot, "Pachislot," has been revamped as the "definitive Pachislot simulator," featuring the latest models as well as the most popular and famous models!

New Stage: Isezaki Ijinmachi, Yokohama

A garbage dump lined with cardboard houses in Isesaki Ijintmachi, Yokohama, is the place where Kasuga Ichiban first wakes up. Having lost everything, Kasuga Ichiban rises from the ashes.
