The long-selling work by Shizuya Girai, "Kempo Ankokuden/Kenyu Shikkouden Cestus," which began serialization in "Young Animal" (Hakusensha) in 1997 and continues 23 years later, has gained enthusiastic support not only in Japan but also in Italy and other countries around the world.
The long-awaited anime adaptation of Shizuya Gikurai's "Kempo Ankokuden/Kenyu Shintouden Sestas" will begin airing in April on Fuji Television's "+Ultra" and other channels as "Sestas -The Roman Fighter-.

A new visual of the main character, Cestus, who continues to fight against his harsh fate as a fist-fighting slave in order to obtain true freedom, has been released.
Wearing fist-fighting gloves, he looks at us with a strong gaze as if he is determined to face his destiny.

Also, comments from Mr. Hiromu Mineta, who plays the role of Cestus, have arrived.

I was honestly happy to play the leading role for the first time!
When I heard that I had been cast, I was so surprised that I could not believe it at all, but I immediately switched my thoughts to the role and said that I had to start boxing for the recording.
The blood boiling fight scenes are the highlight of this film.
