Netflix and Skydance have announced the production of a new Netflix original animated series based on the globally successful "Terminator" franchise.

The "Terminator" series is an American media franchise with James Cameron's "Terminator" as the first film. So far, six films and two seasons of dramas have been produced.

Now, Netflix and Skydance have announced the production of a new Netflix original animated series based on the globally successful "Terminator. This will be the first "Terminator" animated feature.

Mattson Tomlin (Netflix film "Project Power," film "The Batman") will serve as executive producer, and the animation will be produced by Production I.G ("Ghost in the Shell," "B:The Beginning"), which formed a comprehensive business partnership with Netflix in 2018.
