Hold Up! Pose freely with the movable gimmick packed in the small body! I made Kotobukiya's "Deckard & Max Cannon"! Taiyuki's Weekend Plastic Modeling Vol. 27

When you are a working adult, you tend to have a lot of plastic models piled up in your busy life. ...... In this series, Yasuyuki Tai, a voice actor who loves robots and plastic models, takes on the challenge of building plastic models on your behalf!

The concept is "even busy working people can make it this far on their weekends off. There are only two rules: bare bones assembly and a production period of one to two days! If you read this series, you will surely find the plastic model you want to build.

So, "Weekend Plastic Model Making by Voice Actor Taiyuki! Weekend Plastic Model! Let's start the 27th issue!

Vol. 27 Deckard & Max Cannon

The third plastic kit in Kotobukiya's Yuusha series is the first small robot! Deckard & Max Cannon" from "Yusha Keisatsu Jaydecker," a set product of Deckard the Brave Detective and Max Cannon, a transformed version of Gunmax the Motorcycle Detective.

There is also the fun of combining this kit with the "Jay Decker" introduced in the 24th issue of the series, but first let us introduce this kit.

⇒We are also interested in future product development! I made a super cool plastic model "J-Decker" from Kotobukiya just by assembling it! The 24th Weekend Plastic Model by Taiyuki.

The package illustration shows Deckard and the Jaydecker Max Cannon Mode behind him! The building area is engulfed in flames, as if an incident occurred at night!

The runners are colorful, as the kit is for two characters.

Since this is a small robot kit, there is no common runner that was included in the "Great Exhauser" and "Jadecker" kits. We can't wait to see how the movable parts are realized.

Let's start assembling!

It took less than 2 hours to complete. There are no stickers and no painting, but the color classification is very high! It is a very high level of reproducibility.

You can see the assembly process on our YouTube channel "Taiyuki's Hobby" if you like!

First of all, Deckard. The design is based on the uniforms of police officers of the time.

On the back side, you can see the patrol lights and tires when in patrol car mode.

Now let's take a look at how it is movable at this size.

Let's start with the neck. The neck is smoothly movable with a ball joint connection.

The shoulders can swing up and down and back and forth with a small number of parts!

Furthermore, the shoulders are ball jointed, which means they can be rotated to the top. The upper arm can roll and rotate, and the elbow is a pull-out type, so it can be bent to the position shown in the upper right photo. The wrists are also ball-jointed, so they can be easily interchanged with wrists of other shapes.

The waist rotates with an axial connection. The torso can be tilted slightly back and forth, left and right at the torso.

Around the legs. The hip joint is connected by an axial connection, and the base of the connection can slide up and down independently to the left and right. By taking advantage of this slide, a wide range of motion is secured.

The rear skirt armor also opens slightly backward, allowing the legs to move forward and backward. The knees are double-jointed and can be bent nearly 180 degrees!

Slight roll rotation under the knees is also possible. This is useful for fine-tuning the pose.

The ankles are double ball-jointed and move well.

The details on the soles of the feet are also well reproduced.

The figure also comes with a number of parts to recreate the action in the anime.

While introducing these parts, let's have Deckard perform various actions.

He is ready for these powerful poses.

The pistol's magazine is a separate part, and the deep molding, which tends to be a bit lax, is also well-defined.

The figure is reminiscent of the detective pursuing the criminal, as seen in the opening scene.

He is holding a gun with both hands, just like a police officer.

Although Deckard did not do this often in the film, he looks great in this slightly more stylish posture.

He can even get down on one knee without any difficulty.

He can even get down on one knee without any difficulty.

Hold up! Brave cop, it's Deckard!

The police notebook comes in three different patterns. In addition to the closed state

The open lid is angled, and the fully open lid is also included. Detail is fine!

By replacing the waist block inside the rear skirt, it is possible to connect to various stands such as the New Flying Base, ......

You can even let Deckard take these kinds of drastic actions.

Deckard's interaction with the main character, Yuta, is also impressive. Not only fighting, but also taking a leisurely pose like this is a good idea.

I am sure that the lost child will be relieved and stop crying when Deckard gently reaches out his hand to him like this.

As for the size, it looks like this when compared to the Jedeker used in the previous review. It is not possible for these two to be side by side, but they are both non-scale, so they don't seem to be specifically scaled to each other.

Incidentally, Jadecker's chest is Decker's snout.

Jadecker's head is Deckard's back, so it is also interesting to compare them.

Next is the " Max Cannon!

In the anime, each part is shown in close-up during the transformation scene, so you can see that even the smallest details have been reproduced.

The movable parts are the grip and the arm that connects to the Jadecker.

The armor on the right side of Jadecker's waist is replaced with a jointed one to connect Max Cannon's arm.

Jadecker! Max Cannon mode!"

Due to Jadecker's excellent mobility, a pose with his left hand on the cannon can be reproduced.

His right hand reaches the grip.

Max Cannon, fire!

Please recreate this powerful scene at hand and look at it from various angles!

Now, as always, let's add a little more detail.

This time, I simply used a Gundam Marker Smile pen poured-in-type black and an eraser pen. The detail on the police notebook is especially amazing.

The molding of the pistol also stands out.

Deckard in a pose with the smudged handbook! Deckard shoots his gun while jumping sideways.

The smeared effect on his face also makes his expression more clearly visible.

If you have the skill, we hope you can reproduce the paint job on both shoulders!

The smeared areas on the Max Cannon are not so many, so it is easy to do.

The smudged Max Cannon looks better in the rear view. See how powerful they look from various angles? Don't you want to combine them together?

So, what do you think? What did you think of Kotobukiya's "Deckard & Max Cannon"?

Following the release of Jaydecker, Brave Police has released a series of figures, but they have already announced not only Duke Fire, but also the prototype of Fire Jaydecker. I can't wait to touch the strongest form with my own hands!

Of course, I am also looking forward to seeing kits of other heroes besides the "Brave Police"! (Personally, I'm pushing for the "Yuusha Express")

See you soon!
