SHAMAN KING" to start airing on April 1! Additional characters played by Yui Horie and Yuichi Nakamura were announced! The second KV & PV will also be released!

It was announced that the TV anime "SHAMAN KING" will begin airing on April 1, 2021 on six TV Tokyo networks at 5:55 pm every Thursday evening and on BS Teletext at 0:30 am every Thursday night.

SHAMAN KING," a popular comic book series by Hiroyuki Takei that has sold more than 38 million copies, tells the story of a boy who can see spirits, Ip Asakura, who participates in shaman fights to determine the top shaman, and fights alongside his friends to become the Shaman King. Currently, a new chapter, "SHAMAN KING THE SUPER STAR," is being serialized in "Shonen Magazine Edge" (Kodansha).
It will be adapted into a completely new TV anime in April 2021. Based on "SHAMAN KING" (35 volumes), the series will be drawn to the end.

The new anime will start airing on April 1, 2021, every Thursday evening at 5:55 p.m. on the six TV Tokyo networks and every Thursday midnight at 0:30 a.m. on BS Teletext.

In addition, the second PV of "SHAMAN KING," which depicts the beginning of the story, the encounter between Ip and Amidamaru, and their fierce battle against rivals, was also released at the same time. The content of the PV is very exciting.

Additional character and cast information was also announced.
Iron Maiden Jeanne, the girl who stands at the top of the X-LAWS, will be played by Yui Horie, and Marco, the captain of the X-LAWS angel squad, will be played by Yuichi Nakamura, and comments from both have been received.

In addition, the names of the songs for the opening and ending themes, which will be performed by Megumi Hayashibara, have been released!

A girl who stands at the top of the "X-LAWS," an organization dedicated to defeating Hao and achieving world peace. She is called "Saint Shojo" by her team members. She is a kind-hearted girl who sincerely wishes for peace, but her inner thoughts are unknown. She is usually inside the Iron Maiden, always on the verge of death, and her miko power continues to grow.

It's been a while since I've played Jeanne, but I hope I will be able to play her justice and feelings.
As a fan, I am very happy to be able to see "SHAMAN KING" again in the anime! I'm sure it will be a wonderful work, so please watch it!

Marco: CV Yuichi Nakamura

Captain of the Angel Squad of the "X-LAWS" led by Jeanne, Marco is a member of the X-LAWS' strongest team "X-I" and is the actual leader of the organization as a whole. He is strict with both others and his own people, and does not hesitate to punish those who break the rules.
