Pokémon GO" and the trading card game "Pokémon Card Game" will collaborate!

The collaboration between Pokémon GO, an app currently available for smartphones, and the trading card game Pokémon Card Game will take place in the summer of 2021.

■Collaboration to Commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Pokemon
In 2021, the year that marks the 25th anniversary of the video game "Pokémon Red and Green," a collaboration between "Pokémon GO," an app for smartphones that will celebrate its 5th anniversary, and the "Pokémon Card Game," which will also mark the 25th anniversary of the video game, has been decided.
The collaboration between the two games aims to develop products and services that will make both games more enjoyable for players.

<Part 1>"Dr. Willow" will appear on Pokémon cards worldwide in the summer of 2021.
In the summer of 2021, the fifth anniversary of "Pokémon GO," Dr. Willow, the Pokémon doctor who appears in "Pokémon GO," will appear on Pokémon cards as the first collaboration project.
The card will be available in Pokémon card sales areas around the world.

The illustration and contents of the "Dr. Willow" card, as well as details on how to obtain the card in each area, will be announced in late May 2021 or later.
