At the "Date A Live" stage of the "KADOKAWA Light Novel EXPO 2020" held today, March 7, 2021 (Sunday), it was announced that "Date A Live IV (Four)," the latest in the series, will become a TV anime and begin broadcasting in October 2021.

Date A Live" is a light novel serialized in "Dragon Magazine" (Fantasia Bunko). This work, which has sold over 6 million copies worldwide, has been adapted into TV anime and movies three times, with the first part of "Date A Bullet", "Dead or Bullet", being shown in theaters nationwide in August 2020, and the second part, "Nightmare or Queen", being shown in theaters nationwide in November 2020. The production of the long-awaited sequel, the anime "Date A Live IV" is also in the works.

Nobunaga Shimazaki, Marina Inoue, and Asami Sanada appeared on this stage and delivered their joy to fans along with the announcement of new information via live broadcast.

In addition, a teaser visual for "Date A Live IV (Four)," depicting the main character Shido Gokawa, played by Mr. Shimazaki, and the heroine Juka Yatogami, played by Ms. Inoue, was revealed, along with main staff and cast information.
Comments from director Jun Nakagawa, character designer Naoto Nakamura, and the cast have also arrived, so be sure to check them out.

The 10th anniversary logo for the "Date A Live" series, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary on March 19, was also unveiled. Various commemorative events are planned for the future, so be sure to look forward to them.
