TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Brave" Season 2 to air in October 2021!

It was announced that the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Hero" Season 2 will begin airing in October 2021.

The "Rise of the Shield Hero" is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi that was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" (Novelist) and then published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA) in 2013. Iwatani Naofumi is an otaku college student who is summoned to another world as one of the heroes. He sets out on a journey of training to protect the world, but is betrayed by his friends after only a few days. This fantasy work depicts the rise of a man who lost all his money and position, and a TV anime was broadcast in January 2019.

It has now been announced that the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield's Hero" Season 2 will begin airing in October 2021. The latest information about this work will be released on the official website and official SNS.

Information on the main staff and cast of Season 2 has also been released.

The animation production staff consists of Masato Jimbo as director, Keigo Koyanagi as series composition, Masahiro Suwa as character design and chief animation director, Hiroki Gobun as sound director, and Kevin Penkin as music. Kinema Citrus/DRMOVIE will be in charge of animation production.
