Establishment of Animation Production Company "Studio KAFKA"! Started with a new OAD series of "The WITCH'S WIFE"!

Twin Engine Corporation, an animation planning and production company, has established Studio Kafka Inc. as a new animation production company. The studio will also be in charge of production of the new "Mahoutsukai no Yome" OAD series announced today.

Studio KAFKA was established for the purpose of producing a new OAD series of "Mahoutsukai no Yome," a completely new episode of "Mahoutsukai no Yome: The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm.

The studio is staffed by creators with solid skills and experience, such as Takahiko Abidome (character design for "Vinland Saga") and Kazuaki Terasawa (storyboarding and direction for "Overlord III"), who have worked with the studio's representative, Naruse, for many years. They will work on production with a high level of enthusiasm based on the belief that "careful screen production" is the key to success.

WIT STUDIO takes over the baton with the new "Mahoutsukai no Yome" OAD series

The first work to be produced by WIT STUDIO is a new OAD series of "The Mahoutsukai's Wife," which was the reason for the studio's establishment. The first work to be produced by the studio is a new OAD series of "The WITCH ON THE HOLY MESSIAH'S WIFE," a completely new episode based on the original story by Yamazaki Kore, which will be animated in three parts and included in the special editions of volumes 16-18 of the original comic book as an OAD.

The original manga of "The Mahoutsukai's Wife" became a big hit and was adapted into a TV anime produced by WIT STUDIO in 2017. Studio Kafka will take up the baton and handle the long-awaited new anime for fans. The new OAD series will be directed by Kazuaki Terasawa of Studio KAFKA, who will add new staff members to the main staff of the TV animation series to once again visualize the colorful and fantastical world.
