Switch "Monster Hunter Rise" will receive a free post-launch title update! Additional Monsters Include the "Onazuchi" and More!
A free post-launch title update will be available for "Monster Hunter Rise" on Switch, scheduled for release on March 26, 2021. Several additional monsters will appear in the game, including the Oh Nazuchi.
In addition, a demo version of the game, which includes the "Magaimagado Defeat" quest for skilled players, will be available from March 12 (Fri.).

Hunting will be taken to new heights with the "Free Title Update" to be implemented after "Monster Hunter Rise" goes on sale.
The first update is scheduled to be implemented as early as the end of April 2021, the month after the launch, and will feature several additional monsters, including the Kasumi Dragon "Onazuchi. Prepare for more monster attacks.

The new trial version will be available on March 12 (Fri.) with an additional quest "Defeat Magaimagados" for experienced players!
The "Monster Hunter Rise" demo version, which allows you to play this title ahead of others, will be available again on the Nintendo eShop from March 12 (Fri.).
In addition to the previous trial version, which allowed players to play with all 14 weapons from basic operations to practical hunting, a new quest for defeating the main monster "Magai Magadot" will be added.

You can play by downloading "Monster Hunter Rise DEMO Version 2" from Nintendo eShop, which will be distributed on March 12, 2021 (Fri.).
Those who have already downloaded "Monster Hunter Rise DEMO" distributed in January
The software will be updated to "Monster Hunter Rise DEMO Version 2" by downloading the "Update Data" to be distributed on March 12, 2021 (Friday).
The number of quest departures will be reset to "30" at the time of the update.

Notes:
There is a limit of up to 30 quest starts in total for defeating Oxaizuchi, Tamamitsune, and Magaimagados. Once the number of quest departures is exhausted, all five quests, including the Basic Training Quest and the Manipulative Dragon Training Quest, will no longer be playable.
If you want to connect to the Internet and play cooperatively with other players, you will need to subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online (paid service).

The new "Magaimagado-defeat" is a "high difficulty quest" adjusted for the demo version. The challenge is more difficult than the one in the demo version, since players will be using fixed equipment, but confident hunters can take on the challenge.
