<Introduction
Living the dream once again...
Megalobox" is the ultimate martial art that fuses the physical body with gear and technology.
The boxer "Gearless Joe" challenged the tournament "Megalonia" to determine the top of the world without gear, using his raw body. People were enthralled and dreamed of the legendary champion who had risen from the lowest level of the underground ring to the top in just three months, and miraculously won the tournament.
However, seven years later, "Gearless Joe" was standing in the underground ring again. With gear on his scarred body, he changed his name to "Nomad" .......

Ashita no Joe" (Ashita's Joe) is a milestone in Japanese youth manga, depicting the life of the hero, Takeshi Yabuki, who puts everything he has into boxing.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the serialization, the TV anime "Megalobox" was broadcast from April 2018, reconstructing the world of "Ashita no Joe" and depicting the passionate drama of people involved in "Megalobox," a martial art in the near future where people fight by wearing gears. The film gained popularity as a challenging original work. In particular, the retro screen design with an awareness of celluloid-style animation was highly acclaimed, and the film was nominated in eight categories at the "Anime Awards 2019" hosted by Crunchyroll in the U.S., winning tremendous support from both domestic and international fans.

This sequel, the first in three years, reunites the main staff and cast of the previous film to weave a new story with even greater unity.
Directed by Hiroshi Moriyama, who made his impressive debut with "Megalobox. He has been in charge of artwork for a number of high-profile films, including "LUPIN the Third: The Woman Named Fujiko Mine," "Shinketsu no Kyojin," and "Kabaneri: The Iron Castle," and his exceptional talent for visual creation is on full display in this film as well.
Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima, who have worked on "Midnight Diner" and other films and TV dramas, have once again joined forces to write the screenplay, which emotionally depicts a new and continuing story.
The music is composed by mabanua, a drummer and singer himself, in addition to collaborating with and producing numerous artists in Japan and abroad.
As in the previous work, the music incorporating black music brings to life the lives of the Joes, mabanua spins solid music that accompanies the work in the new film.
Animation production is being handled by TMS Entertainment, the same company that produced the TV animation "Ashita no Joe 2" and the "Detective Conan" and "Lupin the Third" series.

The dream of "Gearless Joe" was once fulfilled. What will people see in the continuation of the dream?
