Transformers" and "Top Gun" collaborate! Reservations for "Top Gun Maverick" are now being accepted!

To commemorate the release of the movie "Top Gun Maverick," scheduled for release in 2021, the transforming robot character "Transformers" and "Top Gun" have collaborated to create the Transformers "Top Gun Maverick.

The product will go on sale on August 7, 2021 (Sat.) at toy specialty stores, toy departments and mass merchandisers nationwide, Internet stores, and Takara Tomy's official shopping site, Takara Tomy Mall (takaratomymall.jp), etc. Takaratomy Mall started accepting reservations today, March 10 (Wed.).

Transformers "Top Gun Maverick" is an F-14 fighter plane that appeared in the movie "Top Gun" (the first film) that transforms into robot mode. In addition to the aircraft design, number (114), logo, and other markings, the F-14 fighter plane has been given a weathering paint job* to reproduce the world of the film more realistically.

The volleyball and motorcycle that appeared in the first movie are also included as accessory parts, and since the motorcycle and airplane are the same scale, they can be displayed together to enjoy the world of the movie.
When in robot mode, the figure can be mounted with the included volleyball by replacing the open wrist parts, and it also wears a helmet of the same design as that of the main character Maverick (Tom Cruise), allowing you to experience the world of the movie in every detail.
