TV anime "Kingdom" to start airing on April 4 (Sun.); new PV packed with fierce battles!

A new video depicting the passion of fighting men has been released from the third series of the TV anime "Kingdom," which will start airing on April 4 (Sun.) from 24:10.

This work is a TV animation of the manga "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara, which is serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (published by Shueisha). The story is set in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period and follows the adventures of a boy named Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aims to become a great general, and a young king named Eisei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who later becomes the First Emperor of Japan. The first TV anime series was broadcast on NHK BS Premium from June 2012 to February 2013. The second series aired from June 2013 to March 2014.


The third series depicts the Gasshogun Arc, which is said to be the largest scale battle in the history of "Kingdom," and will begin airing in April 2020. The broadcast of the fifth and later episodes had been postponed, but will start from the first episode on Sunday, April 4, 2021, from 24:10 on NHK Sogo.

New PV depicting the passion of fighting men is released!

The second main PV was recently released, and now a new PV filled with scenes of fierce battles between the warriors has been released.

The new PV depicts the fierce battles between generals with rich personalities, such as Nobu (cv: Seiichi Morita) with his strong faith, Kanuki (cv: Kentaro Ito) with his overwhelming charisma, and Mengmeng (cv: Daisuke Kusunoki) with his strongest military power.


What is the "resolve" of these men who risk their lives on the battlefield? We hope you will feel the message "Men have a reason to fight" in the film. The "Goyo-Gun Arc" is about to begin, and we will be watching the heroic figures of the Han men in fierce battles.

<Synopsis
