TRD, a technologic vocal unit consisting of voice actors Takayuki Kondo and Daisuke Ono, will debut from Pony Canyon. Their first mini-album "TRAD" will be released on June 16, 2021 (Wednesday).

Takayuki Kondo and Daisuke Ono are the same age and both have long careers as voice actors. Although they have been active in the past, they will now start their artistic activities as a unit once again from Pony Canyon.

The name "TRD" has an ancient image of "Traditional" (traditional, legendary), but the idea is to create a new legend from here with T (Takayuki) and D (Daisuke), without being bound by tradition. They will start their activities again as a new dance/vocal unit.

We hope you will enjoy the music that only these two miracle artists can create, which is created when Mr. Kondo's long tones resonate with beautiful melodies in high tones and Mr. Ono's gentle and comfortable charismatic voice overlaps with them. Ono-kun and I have worked together as a unit before. I am happy to be able to make a new start as TRD. I have kept our fans waiting for a long time, so this time I will be even more enthusiastic and will be willing to put my all into the work.

I am happy to be able to work with my ally Takayuki Kondo again as an artist. I feel very positive about being able to start something new here.
The unit name "TRD" comes from the word "traditional," meaning "tradition. This does not mean that we are bound by tradition. We named it with the intention of creating a new tradition from here. We hope that we can create our "TRD" together with you.

─ What kind of unit do you want "TRD" to be?

While maintaining the good aspects of our past activities, we will incorporate the new worldviews proposed by the staff members who will be working with us this time, and we hope to create a world that our supporters have never seen before.

We want to realize what we cannot do alone: what we can do only because we are two people, and what we can expand our world only because we are two people. We will be performing as Takayuki Kondo and Daisuke Ono, so we want to deliver songs that only the two of us can sing, and performances that only the two of us can give. In the spring, we will also start a radio show, and when we talk together, we come up with things that we never thought we would.
