Yakunara Mug Mugomo", set in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, is a coming-of-age story about four high school girls who fall in love with the charm of ceramics under the theme of the traditional craft "Mino Ceramic Ware". The project started in 2010 as part of a project by a group of volunteers and companies in Tajimi City to "energize the city. The story is based on the free comic "Yakunara Mug Cup" published by Planet Corporation, a local IT company, since 2012.
Currently, the series has reached volume 33 and continues to be serialized with the support of local residents, along with an extra four-frame manga, "Naoko's Small Bowl".

The TV anime "Yakunara Mug Cup Momo" is an unprecedented program structure, with the first 15 minutes of the 30-minute program consisting of the regular anime part and the second 15 minutes consisting of the live-action part. In the live-action part, Mimi Tanaka, Yu Serizawa, Yuki Wakai, and Rina Honzumi, who voice the four main characters, step out of the anime to introduce and experience Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture, the setting of the film, in a stylish way.

The main visual for the anime part and this PV have now been completed. In addition, three new characters and their cast members have been unveiled.

Main Visual and PV

The main visual depicts the four members of the pottery club in their clubroom, with the main character, Hineno Toyokawa, trying and failing at pottery, Mika Hisanashi looking back in surprise, Naoko Naruse, Hineno's classmate who is pointing a smartphone camera at her, and Juko Aoki, the pottery club head with a troubled look on her face. The four members are in the clubroom of the ceramics club.

Main visual.

The video begins with HIMENO's words, "Can I join the club? In the video, we see HIMENO gradually becoming fascinated with ceramics, starting with the words "Can I join the ceramics club?", followed by a scene in which she learns that her late mother was a legendary potter who was the object of admiration among girls in the ceramic art world, and tries her hand at ceramics with Juko's help.
Other scenes show Hime-no and Naoko leaving school on the Tajimi Bridge at dusk, Hime-no walking along a path with Sanka and Naoko and happily in the club room, and other heartwarming scenes that show how the four of them are together.

In addition, we see Himeino's father, Tokishiro (刻四郎), who left the life of a salaried worker to start the coffee shop "Tokishiro," meaningfully muttering, "I wondered if one day this would happen..." The scene of Hime-no crying alone in bed, "I felt the color of the wind and the voice of the wind, mother. The PV is full of tenderness that is perfect for the town of Tajimi.

The music for the video has already been released.

The music for the opening theme song "Door wo akira tora" sung by MUG-MO, an original unit of the film consisting of HIMENO, SANKA, NAOKO, and JUKO, has been released for the first time. The song has a country tune that fits the work perfectly, and the lyrics, which seem to link HIMENO and her friends' growth with their feelings toward ceramics, are also noteworthy.
A single containing the song will be released on April 21, and the jacket photo and contents have also been revealed.

Additional characters/additional cast members will include Kaito Ishikawa!

Kaito Ishikawa will play the role of Hime-no's father, Kikishiro Toyokawa, who also has a character voice in this PV, his first father role. Ako Mayama, who has a connection to the city of Tajimi, where she attended high school for three years, will play Yukie Tokigawa, Himeino's grandmother.
Mana Ogawa will play Mami Koizumi, Himeino's homeroom teacher and ceramics club advisor.
The comments from each of them on the film have also arrived.

I am looking forward to seeing how the anime will turn out, as it is a community-based ceramic art.
It will be easier to understand how the work is made when it is put on film, and I am sure that everyone who has seen it will want to do it, so please watch it!

The time has come! Finally, "Yakumo" is here. I am Ako Mayama, who plays the role of Yukie Tokigawa, the grandmother of the main character Hime-no. I watch over my grandson, Hime-chan. I went to Tajimi for three years of high school. Tajimi has a lot of memories for me! Please enjoy the charm of Tajimi with plenty of "Yakumo" as it has live action. I would be happy if you like the dialect as well.

Koizumi Mami / CV: Ogawa Mana

<Cast Comments> *Original text
My name is Mana Ogawa, and I will be playing the role of "Mami Koizumi".
She is the homeroom teacher of Himeino and her classmates and the advisor of the pottery club!
I myself am close in age to Ms. Koizumi and our names are a bit similar, so I felt very close to her when I first heard about her.
He is a friendly character, so I hope I can express his teacher-like personality and the atmosphere where he is easy to talk to like a friend.
I hope many people will watch the movie!
