Luce Twinkle Wink☆, a group that delivers performances with cuteness and bold dance moves under the catchphrase "Shining at the right moment, making the moments sparkle," will release its sixth single, "I'mpossible? Single "I'impossible?

The title number "I'mpossible?" is the ending theme for the TV anime currently being broadcast, "For example, the story of a boy in a village before the last dungeon who lives in a town in the early stage of the story. As idols who have always longed to sing ani-songs and have always said that Anisama is their dream stage, anime theme songs (theme songs) have a special meaning for them.

To commemorate the release of "I'mpossible?", Akiba Research Institute interviewed five members of Luce Twinkle Wink☆ - Yukino Usami, Misao Sakimoto, Saori Itayama, Kaho Higaki, and Momoka Kinosaki. This is the first interview with the newly formed Luce, with new member Ms. Kinosaki joining the group last August.

They talked about the new members, the 3rd solo concert, and the 6th Single "I'mpossible?

─ ─ This is my first interview with Mr. Kinosaki. Could you please introduce yourself for our first-time readers?

Kinosaki: I am Momoka Kinosaki, the new member of Luce Twinkle Wink☆, in charge of the red color. My hobbies are cooking and walking.

─ Do you have any specialties in cooking?

I can cook anything I think of. I like to cook hamburgers, and I often make things like stewed hamburgers.

─ I wonder if any of the members have tried your cooking.

Usami: I have never eaten her cooking!　On Twitter at ...... "#Momotanku"?

Kinosaki It's "#Momotangoban" (laughs).

Usami Not at all!　Momotan (Kinosaki-san) always uploads photos of his cooking with that hashtag, and it's just too much food terrorism!

Usami: It's more like the kind of food a girl would normally cook at home.

─ ─ What is your impression of Ms. Kinosaki and Luce as a team that you joined?

Usami: I think Momotan is a smiley person!　She is always smiling. Momotan's smile is very distinctive, and when she smiles, her eyes disappear. She has a wonderful Momotan smile that brightens up the place, and her hehe smile when she is in trouble is very cute, and I think her smile is filled with freshness as a new member.

Higaki: Momotan gives a fluffy impression, doesn't she? But she is very sociable in appearance. She talks to everyone, even to the senior and junior idols in the office, and even to the adults in the group. I'm really surprised by her energy and sociability.

Itayama Momotan talks all the time, and even during lessons, she talks by herself during breaks. Sometimes I couldn't tell if she was talking to the members or not. So, I would wonder if she was talking to the members or not. I think it's interesting.

───Mr. Kinosaki, are you the type of person who expresses his thoughts in words?

Kinosaki: I talk to myself a lot. or "Let's do that! I say everything.

Itayama: Interesting.

Sakimoto: As Ham-chan (Higaki-san) said, she really goes out of her way to talk to both seniors and juniors. Until now, Yukino-chan (Ms. Usami) was in charge of Luce, but now we have a new member who is even better than her.

Usami: That's really true.

Sakimoto: I can't talk at all with the other members of the group, so I'm just sitting there thinking, "Wow, ......! I'm looking at it thinking, "Wow, this is really great! I want to be just like you.

─ ─ I had an image of Usami as a reliable leader even though she is the youngest, but now that Kinosaki, who is younger than you, has joined the group.

Usami: Actually, when Saaki-Run (Sakimoto-san) joined the group, I felt that I had a cute little sister, so I feel that I have a new sister. I no longer refer to her as the youngest leader, which I used to say in the beginning, partly because I felt I had to be more firm. I am still the leader, though.

─ ─ During the jacket photo shoot, you were watching over Ms. Kinosaki the whole time, weren't you?

Usami: That day, I was the last one to get my makeup done. So I thought it would be better to watch the whole scene rather than just wait. I think this was the first experience for Momotan in particular as a member of Luce, so I watched her from afar like a mother (laughs).

Kinosaki: I asked her to send me a zoomed-in photo from a very long distance (laughs).

Sakimoto It was around the same time that Yukino started coloring her hair, and I felt that she was really becoming Luce's big sister.

Higaki: Actually, I was in charge of setting Momotan's hair and doing her makeup during the first artist photo shoot.

─ ─ You are in charge of Luce's girl power, aren't you?

Higaki (laughs). When Momotan first joined Luce, we hadn't talked much before, so I was a little inquisitive.

Sakimoto Ham-chan was trying to talk to Momotan a lot (laughs).

Higaki I was starting to feel like a big sister to her. But as I talked to her, I realized that she can talk to me on her own and that she has an energetic and sociable personality.

I see. And Ms. Sakimoto had joined Luce as the first new member in February 2019, and this time she was on the side of welcoming you.

Sakimoto: I think I would have cried a lot before when the decision was made to hold the 3rd one-man live concert. I don't cry at those times anymore. I try not to show too much of the feelings I had when I was a newcomer, and I have come to think that this is the time for Momotan, a new member, to show her emotions the most.

I was so nervous about the unveiling live that I don't remember anything but fun.

On May 25, 2020, Saki Fukazawa, the original member of Luce Twinkle Wink☆ in charge of red, announced her graduation, and she officially graduated on July 23, 2020, at the "Luce Twinkle Wink☆ Fukazawa Saki Last Live".

On August 2, 2020, at the "Luce Twinkle Wink☆ New Organization Unveiling Live" held at Tokyo Kinema Club, it was announced that Momoka Kinosaki would be the new member to take over the red color of the image, and the group gave its first performance with the new organization.

Dolly, an idol group jointly managed by ArcJewel and Dear Stage, will disband at the end of 2019.

──When was it decided that Ms. Kinosaki would join Luce as a new member?

KinosakiI think it was around February.

─ So you had about half a year to prepare.

Kinosaki: I had to deal with the restrictions imposed by the new coronavirus, so I was not able to take lessons for a long time. During that time, I wasn't sure how I felt.

───Can you describe how you were feeling?

KinosakiI wondered if I was really going to join Luce.

───It hadn't been officially announced yet, so I guess you didn't really feel it.

Josaki: That's how I felt.

───I would like to ask you about your experience before joining Luce, but you both had experience in idol activities before joining Luce, didn't you, Ms. Sakimoto and Ms. Kinosaki? From our point of view, Luce Twinkle Wink☆ has a sparkling and energetic image, but in fact, it is an image of a bad idol ...... who can keep up a high-level performance with inexhaustible physical strength, no matter how long it takes. What is Luce like from the outside as seen by someone with idol experience?

Kinosaki: Well, she is already a ...... "pro".

Usami Really? （Really?)

Kinosaki: I don't know how to put it. When I actually joined, I found that the lessons were very efficient and there was no waste of time. I love efficiency. I may give off an aura of looseness, but I am actually an impatient person, and I don't like inefficiencies, so when I saw Luce's (efficient and professional) practices, I was kind of happy to see that.

Sakimoto: I felt the same way. I thought that all the members had their own wishes, but when working as a team as Luce, they were able to choose what they wanted to do.

─ What was your impression of Luce's athleticism and performance?

Kinosaki: It was amazing. It's difficult to put into words, but until now I have been taught to dance in the sense of "hands up, hands down. With Luce, the timing and angle of the hands are very clearly defined. There is a unique language that expresses the choreography and movements of luce, and that is the only way to match the choreography and movements. Even if I memorize one song, I have to memorize about 10 songs.

Usami: As an idol who claims to have a synchronization rate, I feel like I have to have everything in sync with each other to be satisfied (laughs). (Laughs.) So I have to go so far as to decide what to do?　After each live performance, we pause the recorded video and share it with the audience to make sure all the angles of the kime are aligned. We have been doing this for years, so it has become Luce's normal.

───How did you feel when you jumped into "Luce's normal"?

Sakimoto: First of all, I couldn't keep up physically. So I thought it was really amazing that the other members were able to do that normally. On the day I had a five-hour lesson, I was already in bed by 7:00 p.m. I was like a child returning from a field trip (laughs). (laughs) Actually, today was also a day of 5-hour lessons, but now I am able to get up and do the interview.

─ ─ Thank you so much after a hard lesson. ......　How did you feel about it, Ms. Kinosaki?

Kinosaki Of course it's hard work, but it's a lot of fun!　It is really nice to have someone tell me the details of the dance and the key points of the dance. So I am very happy, and at the same time I feel frustrated that I can't do it well, so I am always battling between these two feelings. When I am done, I feel a sense of accomplishment, and I am very happy when I am able to do something that is difficult to do. We all have something we want, and it's fun to work hard for it.

Itayama: From the very beginning, I thought that you had a good foundation and high skills. Once you reach a certain level, it is difficult to see growth immediately. But Saaki-Run (Sakimoto-san), after two years, I can see that his level is getting better and better. It must have been very difficult for Momotan to learn this kind of dance in a limited amount of time with a large number of songs. I am amazed that Momotan is able to do what I ask her to do by the next lesson. I am very grateful for that!

─ After all these efforts, the new members were unveiled at the Kinema Club last August.

Kinosaki: I was so nervous that I can hardly remember ......!　I can hardly remember. I wondered if anyone could be this nervous. I was scared the first time I went on stage.

─ ─ When I first went on stage, I showed my back to the audience to raise the anticipation of the audience. But isn't it nerve-wracking for the people on stage to not be able to see the audience?

Kinosaki: I didn't know how the audience would react, so I was anxious about whether they would accept me properly. I was so nervous and anxious that I lost my memory (laughs). But when I stood on stage and turned around, I changed my mind. I was so nervous that I don't remember, but I do remember that I was having fun.

─ ─ I think it must have been difficult for you that there were restrictions on live performances due to the new coronavirus, and the blinkers (fans) were not able to cheer for you.

Kinosaki: I couldn't speak, but the applause got louder and louder, and I was very grateful to feel their support.

─ About six months have passed since then, did it feel fast or long?

Kinosaki It was very fast. It was so fast that I thought, "What's going on? Every day went by so fast that I thought it was just a blink of an eye after I joined Luce. It feels like it's already been six months! That's how I feel.

─ ─ Actually, at the time of the debut live, I felt that Kinosaki-san's movement habits or the way he showed his movements were a little different from the others. I felt that. Is there any difference depending on the dance you have learned or the stage you have performed on?

Kinosaki: I have always been a very habitual dancer. So now I try to eliminate my movement habits as much as possible.

───I was surprised to see your movements completely changed to Luce's at the one-man show at Zepp Haneda four months later.

Kinosaki Thank you very much!　I think that if we follow the detailed arrangements properly, it will gradually become Luce's movements.

Usami: Luce's dance is unique from the very beginning of the lessons. There are various styles of idols, and I think there is a sense of how much you can show yourself as an individual in a group during a live performance, how much you can stand out, and whether you can go out in a good way. The group that Momotan was in in particular was a group that valued the individuality of each member, so I think the direction of the group was the exact opposite. （Even on stage (back then), I could see that Momotan was trying to show her best more than anyone else. So I think it was very difficult for Momotan to try her best to match Luce. Luce is free to do solos, but the chorus and other parts are really a group art as a team.

Kinosaki: The group I was in before (Chu☆Oh! Dolly) didn't have group dance lessons or voice training, so we really showed off our individual talents. At first, I was not so much at a loss as I was just overwhelmed with so much to learn that my brain couldn't keep up with it. I didn't even know what was written in the notes I took.

─ ─ At the unveiling live, a video message from Saki Fukasawa was shown, and Ms. Kinosaki also introduced an episode in which she talked with Ms. Fukasawa. I had an image of idol group members graduating and new members joining, so it was a new experience for me.

Kinosaki: Before I officially joined the group, I had a chance to hang out with Saki-san quite a bit. At those times, I don't know how to put it, but she was with me in a natural way, and we didn't have to worry about each other in any strange way. So I felt as if I was working with Saki-san in Luce, as if we had become a six-member group.

Usami: Usami: Usually, there is a feeling of a breakdown and a restart with new members, but I didn't feel that way this time. It was more like a feeling of being passed down from one generation to the next.

─ ─ While inheriting our feelings. However, I think that the characters and images of Ms. Fukazawa and Mr. Kinosaki are quite different from each other.

Kinosaki: Yes, I think they differ in many ways, but I wanted to carry on Saki's cheerful and energetic personality.

───I think the first big stage for the new Luce was the "Luce 3rd one-man live ~Shall we Luce? What were your impressions of the live performance, what was impressive, and what were the points you focused on?

Usami: I really enjoyed it too much!　There was a break between the first and second parts for ventilation, but I was shaking because I was having so much fun that I didn't want the show to end (laughs). It had been a long time since we decided that we wanted to do another one-man live concert, and we wanted to put all the feelings we had accumulated during that time into one day, so we tried to put everything into it, including the direction, stage set, and setlist composition. We were so focused on the show that we felt it would be a shame to end it after just one day. Since we were able to finish the show, we watched the archived video and felt that we had created a great piece of work.

Sakimoto: Usually after a concert, I wonder if the audience enjoyed today's content and setlist. I often wonder if the audience enjoyed today's content and setlist. But this one-man show was definitely a lot of fun, wasn't it? I am proud to say that I was able to make it a live performance that I can be proud of with confidence. The most impressive part of the show was the dance number part, where we were divided into two teams: the sexy sister team and the dwarf team. Itayama: My favorite part was the performance of "Koi no prologue*" using umbrellas, which was the first time Luce used props in a live performance. Actually, we had been talking about singing with umbrellas for a while, so I was happy to see it come to fruition. After the concert, we received feedback from fans that the performance with the umbrellas was mysterious and good, and we were happy that our view of the world matched what the fans wanted to see. I was happy to hear unprecedented comments such as "I cried because it was so much fun," which made me realize that it is possible to deliver emotion with "Oh, it's so much fun.

Kinosaki: I was very happy to be able to perform "Luce Luce Twinkle Wink☆" for the first time with the new group. It is a song that I have cherished since the beginning of Luce, and I was able to sing this song at my first solo live after joining Luce. Fans told me that they felt Momotan had truly become a member of Luce, which made me realize that I had become a member of Luce. I was also happy to sing this song. It was supposed to be a long show, but it went by so fast, and I don't remember much except that it was fun and I wanted to do more! I don't remember much other than the feeling of "I had fun and I want to do more!

Higaki: I think the theme of Luce's previous one-man shows was to "show the life-size Luce. That's why I was happy that we were able to do our first concept one-man show this time. It has been 5 years since our major label debut, so I think it is necessary to show something new and have people enjoy it with a fresh feeling. I think we were able to show a new image through a different filter, one that was Luce but not Luce, and when I saw it in the video, I felt confident that it fit Luce.
