Animator Minako Shiba has passed away.

On March 16, 2021, animation production companies such as Pierro Inc. and P.A. WORKS announced Shiba's passing on Twitter.

Mr. Shiba was in charge of character design for numerous anime such as "Noir," "Hikaru no Go," "Ginyu Revelation Meine Liebe," ".hack//SIGN," "Tsubasa Chronicle," "Black Butler," "Tegamibachi," "Red Data Girl," "I am threatened by the number one man I want to be hugged." and many other anime character designs. Last year, he was in charge of character design for "Hypnosis Mike -Division Rap Battle-" Rhyme Anima.
