<Introduction
The first astronaut in human history was a vampire girl.
After the end of the World War, the two superpowers that divided the world, the Federation of the Republic of Zirnitra in the east and the United Kingdom of Arnak in the west, turned their territorial ambitions toward space.
The two countries engaged in a fierce competition for development, and now...
The year is 1960 in the East. Gergiev, the supreme leader of the Federation of Republics, announces the "Myechta (Dream) Project," a manned spaceflight program that, if successful, will be the first human achievement in space.
Meanwhile, Lev Lepps, an alternate cosmonaut cadet, is assigned a top-secret mission.
He is to watch Irina Luminescu 24 hours a day and train her to become a vampire experiment prior to manned flight.
Lev and Irina, human and vampire, observer and experimenter, they are at the mercy of tribal barriers and national egos, but they share a genuine desire to go to space, and together they set their sights on it.
