Switch "Atsumare Animal Crossing" will receive a free update on Thursday, March 18! Easter will be held on Sunday, April 4!

A free update will be available for the Nintendo Switch game "Atsumare Animal Crossing" on Thursday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. By downloading the update (Ver. 1.9.0), you will be able to use the recently introduced "Animal Crossing amiibo+" amiibo card [Sanrio Characters Collaboration], as well as add seasonal items and the My Design feature.

Support for amiibo cards [Sanrio Characters Collaboration

With the update, "Animal Crossing amiibo+" amiibo cards [Sanrio Characters Collaboration] are now compatible with "Animal Crossing amiibo+". You can order collaboration items featuring Sanrio characters, recruit residents depicted on the card at the campsite, and take commemorative photos at the "Panny's Island" studio.
The "Animal Crossing amiibo+" amiibo card [Sanrio Characters Collaboration] reissue will go on sale on Friday, March 26.

Easter 2021 will be held on Sunday, April 4.

The date of the "Easter" festival varies from year to year, but this year it will be held on Sunday, April 4. On the island, it seems that "eggs" will begin to be hidden here and there from Sunday, March 28, one week before.

Whether you participated last year or this is your first time, let's collect various eggs and DIY a special piece of furniture.
From this year, the "Tanuki Shop" will also offer Easter-related furniture from March 28 to April 4. These items will be different from the DIY items using eggs, so check them out as well.

Thursday, April 22 is "Earth Day. It is considered a day to think about the global environment. In honor of this day, "Cool Chikyugi" can be ordered from April 15 to April 22.

My Design PRO Editor+" added to mileage redemption

My Design PRO Editor+" is now available as a prize that can be exchanged for "Tanuki Mileage.
When you redeem this item, the "My Design" application on your smartphone in the game will be even more powerful. You will be able to create new "Umbrellas", "Fans", "Tebatas", and "Kaodashikanban" from the "PRO Design" screen.

New Furniture for Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers!

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers have been able to redeem miles for the "Tanuki Kaihatsu Square Rug" as a reward, but with the Ver. 1.9.0 update, they will be able to order a "Nintendo Switch Lite" with a bell.
Resident players who are currently subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online can order it with bells from the "Tanuki Shopping" "Higawari" tab. Different colored units will be lined up on a daily basis.

*The NSO subscription bonus must be downloaded to be able to order.
Players who have already downloaded the Nintendo Switch Online subscription bonus at the time of "Tanuki Kaihatsu no Square Rag" will be automatically added to Tanuki Shopping after the Ver. 1.9.0 update.
Only players who have linked their Nintendo account to Nintendo Switch Online during the subscription period will be able to order "Nintendo Switch Lite"; if they cancel their Nintendo Switch Online membership, they will not be able to order it.

My Design Showcase" can be used anytime, anywhere

The "My Design Showcase" located in the "Able Sisters" tailor shop can now be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from a smartphone in-game!

After being guided at the terminal of the tailor shop, "My Design Showcase" can be accessed from the in-game "My Design" application by redeeming miles from "Tanuport". Utilizing "My Design PRO Editor+" in conjunction with "My Design" will expand the range of ways in which "My Design" can be used.

Tanu Portal" also updated

Tanu Portal," available on the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app, will be updated in late March. With this update, users will be able to accumulate "Tanu Points" once a day.
The accumulated points can be exchanged for prizes of your choice and sent to "Atsumare Animal Crossing". Take this opportunity to activate the "Tanu Portal" and use it for island life.

Nintendo Switch Online My Nintendo Gold Points Campaign" to be held

From March 16 (Tuesday) to May 10 (Monday), "Nintendo Switch Online Gold Point Campaign" will also be held.
During this period, customers who purchase either an individual plan (12 months) or a family plan subscription will receive My Nintendo Gold Points worth 10% of the purchase price.

On March 24 (Wed.), a limited time website of "Sightseeing Guide Maker" brought to you by Tanuki Kaihatsu will be released. Using the photos and videos taken with "Atsumare Animal Crossing", you can create posters and movies that show the charms of your island.

When the website is released, you will be notified via the "Animal Crossing Twitter account," so please create a sightseeing guide that introduces the recommended spots on your island and share it with others.

In order to enjoy the contents added by the free update, it is necessary to download the latest version of the update data (Ver. 1.9.0), which will be distributed on March 18 (Thu.).
*Events and additional items may not occur simply by changing the date of the main unit, even if the updated data has already been downloaded. After the real time start date, the software must be launched with the console connected to the Internet and the user's Nintendo account linked.
