Kingdom" is a popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (published by Shueisha). In 2021, the 15th anniversary of the serialization, "Kingdom: Nobu" will be held at the Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo from June 12 (Sat.) to July 25 (Sun.), where visitors can experience the overwhelming power of the manga. This exhibition, under the full supervision of Yasuhisa Hara, reconstructs the story of "Nobu" by focusing on the main character, Nobu, who grows through encounters and partings with friends and enemies in the story from episode 1 "The Unknown Boy" to episode 438 "The Time of Yuuhi". The exhibition will feature more than 400 original drawings and 20 illustrations drawn especially for this exhibition, and will be an unprecedented scale exhibition of original drawings, reconstructing the famous and moving scenes with original manuscripts and giant graphics.


The full details of the exhibition will be announced in the 17th issue of "Weekly Young Jump," which will be on sale on March 25 (Thu.). A key visual drawn by Yasuhisa Hara for the exhibition was unveiled. The visual depicts Makoto struggling on the battlefield with his fellow members of the Hishintai, and represents the exhibition that traces Makoto's steps.


Yasuhisa Hara said, "The subtitle of the exhibition is 'Nobu,' so I depicted Nobu and the Hishintai. In the midst of a fierce battle, he is inspiring his comrades by issuing a proclamation. I wanted to depict their spirit and the way they faced up to difficulties." He also commented, "I wanted to depict the spirit and the way they faced up to the difficulties. <Yasuhisa Hara
Born on June 9, 1975. Born in Saga Prefecture.
While a university student, he won the runner-up prize in the Young Division of the 40th Chiba Tetsuya Award for his work. After graduating from graduate school, he started working as a system engineer, but left the company because he could not give up his dream of becoming a manga artist. In 2003, "Ha to Sen" won the Encouragement Award at the 23rd MANGA Grand Prix, the newcomer award of "Weekly Young Jump". In the same year, he made his debut with "Kongo" in "Young Jump" Vol. 36. Kingdom" in the 9th issue of "Weekly Young Jump" in 2006.
