The "Super Sentai" series is one of Japan's most popular special effects series. The combined robot "Zenkaio Juragaon" from the memorable 45th episode "Kikai Sentai ZENKAIJAR" is now available as a mini plastic model! The Akiba Research Institute editorial department immediately reviewed it!

This time we will be introducing the "Mini-Pla Zenkai Gattai Series 01: Zenkaio Juragaon Set". This is the annual Mini-Pla series of Super Sentai Robots, and as the first in the "ZENKAIJAR" series, there are "1. ZENKAI JURAN A", "2. ZENKAI JURAN B", "3. And "5. Juragaon Extension Parts Set" for a total of 5 types.

Previous Miniplats have included extension parts to enhance their appearance and mobility, but this is probably the first time that extension parts alone have been included in a product lineup. In recent years, Miniplat has often talked about the wide range of movement in the combined robot form, but this time we can expect even more.

So, let's start with the set box!

Of course, you can buy them all individually, but they are also sold as a set. The set version features a box with a super cool ZENKAIO Juragaon male figure printed on it!

Inside the box are five individual boxes. And of course, each one contains a Ramune.

This is ZENKAIJURAN.

The greatest feature of "Kikai Sentai ZENKAIJAR" is that all members except the center ZENKAIZER are Kikainoids, which are machine life forms. When battling a gigantic enemy, the Kikainoid members transform directly into a gigantic machine and transform into a machine world.

The basic parts are the same as those of ZENKAI JURAN, but the arrangement is symmetrical due to the gimmick of combining the parts.

The weapon is the "Gaon Claw". It is attached to the arm to fight.

5. Juragaon Extension Parts Set

There are two types of stickers for the nameplate part. One is the pattern with the robot's name printed on it, and the other is the sticker with "Kikai Sentai ZENKAIJAR" printed in English.

Now let's check out the extension parts!

First, let's start with the chest extension parts.

As it is, the separated arms make the chest plate thicker than necessary, but by replacing it with this part, the chest area is cleaned up and the fangs look as if they are interlocked.

Next is the abdomen extension part.

Due to the combined structure of the left and right sides, Zenkaio cannot twist its hips in the combined form, but by inserting this part between the chest and abdomen, it becomes ......

This part allows you to twist the body! This allows you to create cooler poses. Also, the upper body becomes longer by the amount of the parts, and the style improves!

Next, let's look at the foot parts.

The legs are too small to be stable when the figure is standing, and the proportions may be a bit lacking for some.

Therefore, we replaced them with extension parts!

The feet are sturdier and have more ground clearance.
