Black Clover" will be made into a movie for the first time! PV and commemorative visuals are released!

The film adaptation of the TV anime "Black Clover" was announced on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump issue 17, on sale today, March 29. A visual commemorating the film adaptation, a special report, and the 6th anniversary project of the serialization are also shown.

Black Clover" (written by Hiroki Tabata), serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, is a popular series that has sold over 12 million copies. In a world where magic is everything, Asta, a boy who cannot use magic, and his rival Yuno aim to become the "Magic Emperor," the pinnacle of mages, and this is an epic fantasy work about the adventures and growth of a boy who cannot use magic.

Since its anime adaptation in 2017, the powerful magic battle scenes and the ensemble drama with unique characters have attracted attention as the king of shonen anime, and it has gained worldwide popularity, ranking first in viewership in 87 countries and regions in 2020 on Crunchyroll, a major overseas platform.

The final episode of the TV anime "Black Clover" is scheduled to air tomorrow, March 30 (Tuesday), and the decision to make it into a movie was announced on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump issue 17, which is on sale today.

The work, which has aired a total of 170 episodes since October 2017, has decided to move to the movie stage to continue its development. This is a long-awaited announcement for fans, as there had been a lot of requests for a film adaptation on SNS when the final episode was announced. In addition, a visual designed by character designer Itsuko Takeda commemorating the decision to make a movie was also unveiled. The watercolor touch visual of the main character, Asta, greeting the sunrise gives a hopeful and refreshing impression.

The visual is a fresh and hopeful one. We look forward to seeing what kind of story Asta will tell in the movie, details of which will be announced later.

The final episode will air tomorrow, Tuesday, March 30, from 18:25 on TV Tokyo. Just before the broadcast, a special program commemorating the final episode will be distributed on YouTube from 18:00. Takehito Kajiwara, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Junichi Suwabe, and Kana Yuuki will look back on the past broadcasts, and at 18:55, after the TV anime airs, the Black Bull Team (Takehito Kajiwara, Junichi Suwabe, Kana Yuuki, Jun Fukuyama, Ayumi Murase) and the Golden Dawn Team (Nobunaga Shimazaki, Takuatsu Terashima, Hiroaki Toriumi, Takuatsu Nishi, and Hiroaki Toriumi) will appear on the program, (Mr. Nobunaga Shimazaki, Mr. Takuatsu Terashima, Ms. Asuka Nishi, Mr. Kosuke Toriumi, and Ms. Aya Uchida) will compete with each other to see who has the stronger love for BRACLOS.

The cast of Black Clover will deliver a special program looking back on the three and a half years of anime broadcast!
In the first part, the four main cast members will look back on the past broadcasts before the final episode. In the second part, the Black Rampage team and the Golden Dawn team, a total of 10 members, will compete to see who has the stronger love for Black Clover.

Celebrating the 6th anniversary of the series! Six projects, including a popularity contest, are now underway!

This year marks the 6th anniversary of the serialization of "Black Clover," which began in 2015. Therefore, six commemorative projects will begin today, Monday, March 29, as part of the "BLACK CLOVER 6 (Roku) Anniversary Project," which is a combination of "BLACK CLOVER," which stands for "Black Clover," and "6.
The "5th Mage General Election," a popularity contest in which a total of 137 characters will be entered, a free distribution campaign for the digital version of the comics, a present project, the release of a video of Hiromoto Tabata's drawings, and many other projects.
