Vanitas no Teki (Carte)" (written by Jun Mochizuki), currently serialized in the monthly "Gungan JOKER," will be adapted into a TV anime.

Vanitas no Teki (Chart of Vanitas)" serialized in the monthly "Gungan JOKER" is the latest work by Jun Mochizuki, the author of the popular manga "PandoraHearts", which has sold over 5.5 million copies in total.

This time, a TV anime adaptation of the work has been decided. The broadcast is scheduled for the summer of 2021.

In conjunction with the announcement of this information, a teaser visual and a teaser PV by Yoshiyuki Ito, the character designer, were also released. Information on the main staff and cast was also announced.

This is a story of dying vampires.

This is the story of the dying vampires in 19th century France, where both humans and vampires exist.
Noe, a young vampire, is on his way to Paris in search of the "Book of Vanitas," a grimoire that disperses a curse on vampires.
On the way, Noe encounters an incident on a flying ship.
In the midst of the confusion, Vanitas, a human who calls himself a vampire doctor, appears before Noe. In Vanitas' hand was the cursed grimoire "The Book of Vanitas" that Noe had been searching for.

Their encounter opens a vampire tale of curse and salvation.

I wrote the opening theme song, "Sky and Emptiness,
The title is a translation of the Latin word "vanitas," which means emptiness. The title is "Sora to Utsuro," which translates to "sky and emptiness.
It is also meant as the name of a genre of painting that reminds us of the emptiness and transience of this world.
I felt these emotions in Vanitas' memoir, so I tried to incorporate into the lyrics what I felt when I read it and the world that the characters would see.
I hope I was able to express the beautiful and fragile world.
I am looking forward to the anime. ！！！！

Beatmaker/composer/singer deeply influenced by electronica and club music, but also linked to Vocaloid and online game world.
He is known for his ear-catching melody lines and deep, fused sound design, and is active not only as a composer but also as a songwriter, songwriter, and producer.

The two main characters

Vanitas (CV: Natsuki Hanae)
