The story of "Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet," the 24th in the series, begins with the opening of the "vacuum superconducting linear train," which boasts a maximum speed of 1,000 km/h, connecting Nagoya and Tokyo in time for the opening ceremony of the WSG (World Sports Games), the largest sports festival in the world. In the film, Conan and his friends come to Nagoya to ride the linear train, and there are scenes featuring the streets of Nagoya and "Nagoya-meshi" (Nagoya rice).

To commemorate Conan's arrival in Nagoya, the "Detective Conan: Nagoya's Favorite Sightseeing Spots & Nagoya Meshi Auto-Reply Campaign" has started, utilizing Twitter's auto-reply function.
