Tsugaru Shamisen Supervisor: Yoshida Brothers

I am very happy to be able to present this work, which I have been involved in events and projects since its serialization, to you as the anime "Mashiro no Otoko".
The shamisen accompaniment for this year's anime was composed mainly by young artists, and university Tsugaru shamisen clubs close to the age of the anime characters participated in the project.
The recording process was not so much a recreation as a creation of each song from scratch, and each of the participating members went through a process of trial and error.
It is one of the ways to enjoy watching the anime, imagining which player is playing which piece. There might be a hint hidden in the end roll...? Don't miss it until the end!

It has been 9 years since I first met the original author, Mr. Marishige Ragawa, and he told me that the expression of that scene was about you. I am happy to be able to be involved in the actual Tsugaru shamisen performance in the Mashiro no Otoko anime adaptation.

To switch with the performance in the play and to make the story more dynamic, Sekine and Handa were in charge of producing the piano and string melodies, which are their respective specialties. We are a young team! We did our best!
