Spring Anime "If the Ultimate Evolution of Full Dive RPG is More Fucked Up than Reality," Episode 1 Synopsis & Scene Cuts Released!

The synopsis, advance cuts, and web preview of the first episode of the TV anime "If the Ultimate Evolution Full Dive RPG is More Fucked Up than Reality," which will start airing on April 7 (Wed.), are now available. Also, information about the Akiba Jack campaign that will start tomorrow and the Blu-ray & DVD pre-order bonus has arrived.

The "Ultimate Evolution Full Dive RPG is more shit than reality" is a light novel by Dohizuki that has been published by MF Bunko J since August 2020. It is the story of the main character, Hiroshi Yuki, who tries to conquer the overly realistic and annoying full-dive RPG "Pole Quest.
The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Kazuya Miura, who worked as animation director on "SLAM DUNK," and ENGI will be in charge of animation production.

Hiroshi (Hiro) Yuki is a high school student who loves video games. Today is the release day of a new full-dive RPG that he has been waiting for! He was trying to get his hands on the game at ......, but he was tricked into buying a ZZ-rated game called "Kiwame Quest".
The graphics, the behavior of the NPCs, the scent of the plants and trees, the wind on your skin, everything was the ultimate in realism--except that it was so realistic that it was impossible to complete the game.
