Cast interview Vol.3
Tomori Kusunoki as Latifah

Q1. Please introduce the character you play.
She is a Fuchsbau girl who is kept as a slave by the Duke of Huguenot. In the drama CD included in the special edition of the original novel, I played the adorable part of Latifah, who loves Rio, so I think my impression of her feelings for Rio became even more vivid as I played the deeper part that Latifah is carrying.

Q2: What are you conscious of when playing a character?
As the younger sister among all the characters, I tried to give a charming performance. I was also conscious of making a big difference between her serious expression and the serious expression she had before she became more open to me.

Q3: What parts of the character do you sympathize with, and on the other hand, what parts do you feel you do not have?
Rather than empathy, I was impressed by the fact that I played a character with feelings that I would not have myself. The bitterness of being a slave and the feeling of clinging to someone who is not related to you as if he were one of your family members. I was able to experience a wide range of emotions, from heartbreaking to warm.

Aya Harada as Miharu Ayase

Q1: Please introduce the character you play.
Miharu is kind, gentle and reserved, and I feel that she is close to the ideal image of a "girl" that many people think of, both in terms of her appearance and personality.

Q2: What do you keep in mind when playing the character?
When I play Miharu, I try to give a gentle and soft impression.

Q3: What parts of the character can you relate to, and on the other hand, what parts do you feel you do not have?
I think my character is a little like me in that she gets nervous and reserved when interacting with people. I envy Miharu because she has a lot of girl power, which I don't have.
