Today, I have an important announcement to make to all of you who have been supporting Minori Chihara.

I have been active as a voice actress and singer since my debut in 2004, but I have decided to take a break from singing as of the end of this year. I will continue my voice acting activities.

Reaching the milestone of turning 40 years old with the Corona Disaster was a major turning point in my life that made me rethink my future. In the time I spent confronting myself, I began to think that being an expressive person may not be all there is to me.

In order to live my life more true to myself, I would like to continue to move forward, challenging myself with work that brings smiles to people's faces.

And one more thing.
I have a happy report.

Our annual live concert at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater, a summer tradition, has been grandly decided - ！！！！！

SUMMER CHAMPION 2021 -Minori Chihara Final Summer Live-".

The event will be held on August 7 (Sat.) and August 8 (Sun.), 2DAYS!

This will be the last live performance at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater before she takes a break from her activities.

This year, I would like to welcome as many audience members as possible to the venue and deliver a live performance while making sure to take measures against corona, so I would be very happy if you could come to see me.

Minori Chihara Profile
Born on November 18 in Tochigi Prefecture. She is a member of HORIPRO INTERNATIONAL.
She made her voice acting debut in 2004 as Natsume Anya in the anime "Tenjo Tenge" and became widely known in 2006 as Nagato Yuki in the anime "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.
She started her singing career in 2004, and based on her achievements at live houses, halls, Nippon Budokan, and Saitama Super Arena, she will celebrate her 15th anniversary on November 18, 2019 with "15th Anniversary Minori Chihara Birthday Live ~. Everybody Jump! ～on November 18, 2019 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of her debut.
In February 2020, she released her third best album "SANCTUARY II ~Minori Chihara Best Album~".
This year will mark the 13th consecutive year of their annual outdoor live performance at the Kawaguchiko Stella Theater.
