It has been announced that "Cuckoo's Bride," serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine by Miki Yoshikawa, known for "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan" and other works, will be adapted into a TV anime.

The "Cuckoo's Bride" is a "life-crossing x four-square-relationship romantic comedy that begins with a mistaken child" by Miki Yoshikawa, known for "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan" and "Yamada-kun to 7 no Majo (Yamada-kun and 7 witches)". It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since the 9th issue in 2020.

Today, it was announced that the series will be adapted into a TV anime in 2022, and the cast will include Kaito Ishikawa and Akari Kito. Comments from the two and the original author, Miki Yoshikawa, as well as the first PV and the first visual have been released.

The TV anime will be directed by Hiroaki Akagi ("Chibimaruko-chan", "Atashinchi" original art, etc.) and produced by Shin-Ei Animation/SynergySP ("Crayon Shin-chan", "Absolutely Lovely Children", etc.).

<Introduction
