The TV anime "Magia Records: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden" is based on the smartphone game "Magia Records: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden," which is an outside world of the original anime "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" that was broadcast on TV in 2011 and a trilogy of movie versions was released from 2012 to 2013, along with a new story to experience the work. The TV animation "Magia Records: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden" is based on the smartphone game "Puella Magi Madoka Magica". Set in a newly developed city where magical girls tend to gather, a different town from Mitakihara City in "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," the story centers around the new protagonist, Iroha Tamaki, and the new magical girls who cross paths with her. The original character design is by Ume Aoki, the same as the original anime.
