───Could you tell us your impression of this work?
I thought it would be a very beautiful and mysterious work since it is set in an aquarium in Okinawa. The dialogue between the characters is funny and heartwarming, but the creatures and scenery of the aquarium are so beautifully depicted that I felt the seriousness of the production staff!
I usually visit aquariums without much thought, but I think I will look at the inside of the aquarium and the aquarium staff in a different way in the future!

─ ─ Could you tell us about your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Tsukimi is always high spirited and is the mood maker of Kukuru and her friends! She likes to gossip, makes more noise than anyone else, and has many childish aspects, but she sometimes shows a motherly side, which I find fascinating!
She is a very fun character to play because she is a bit of a goofball, but also has a lot of sense of humor!

Natsurin Hisataka: CV Lynn

She is a civil servant who works for the town's tourist association. She is a dependable older sister who helps out at the aquarium and is always willing to help out when there is a problem.

<Lynn's comment

─ ─ Could you tell us your impression of this work?
It is a work that is right in line with my personal tastes. There are life-size girls with their own problems, and the rich nature of Okinawa is beautifully depicted in the pictures. I feel that there is an exquisite balance between the play, which is not overly exaggerated, and the fantastical aspects of the story. I also feel that time is passing very slowly.

─ ─ Could you tell us about your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Natsurin, who I will be playing, is a little older than Kukuru and the others and is very strong, so she is dependable in some ways.
On the other hand, I feel that she still has a childish and cute side to her. I will put my heart and soul into my performance, including her gentle side that watches over the aquarium from the outside and supports it from time to time.

My name is Mia REGINA, and I am in charge of the ending theme song for "Aquatope of White Sand. I am very honored to be involved in this work.
I sang the song as if I was gently wrapping myself around the main characters, as if I was watching over their dreams.
We sang the song as if we were watching over the dreams of the main characters, and it became an important song for us as well.
We would be happy if you love "Gekkai no yurikago" along with our work.

Comment from U35, the original character designer
I designed Natsurin to look like a flower blooming when she smiles and to give the image of a cute older sister, and Tsukimi to be full of vitality, as if she were a girl who looks good in the sun.

Work information
TV animation "Aquatope of White Sand

<introduction
Directed by Toshiya Shinohara, series composition by Yuko Kakihara, and produced by P.A.WORKS.
They worked together on "From Tomorrow in a Colorful World," which depicted the adolescence of girls, and their new project is a completely new original animation set in a small aquarium in Okinawa.

Kukuru Umisakino, an 18-year-old high school girl who works at the aquarium, meets Fuka Miyazawa, a former idol who has lost her place in Tokyo and has run away. Kukuru and Fuka spend their days at the aquarium with their own feelings in their hearts.

However, the important place is facing the crisis of closing its doors.

The girls' dreams and reality, loneliness and companionship, bonds and conflicts...
A sparkling new page will open this summer.

<story> "Did you see it?
Did you see it?

Kukuru quietly tells the girls the secret of the Gama-Gama Aquarium.

Sometimes you can see 'mysterious things' here.

The summer sun shines down on Okinawa.
The aquarium is located about an hour's bus ride from Naha City.
The tiny and somewhat deserted Gamagama Aquarium is located right next to a beautiful beach in the southern part of Okinawa's main island.

An 18-year-old high school girl, Kukuru Umisakino, works there with a straight face and dedication.
She loves the aquarium more than anyone else, to the point of calling herself the "director" in place of her grandfather.

One day, Kukuru meets a girl named Fuka Miyazawa, who was shedding tears while shaking her long hair in front of the aquarium.
Fuka had given up her dream of becoming an idol and had come to Okinawa from Tokyo on an aimless getaway.

Slow and gentle time flows at the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.
Seeking a place to belong, Fuka asks to work at the aquarium.

Their daily lives, which were never meant to meet, began to move in this way.

However, along with the "wonder" of the aquarium, it also faces a big problem: the closing crisis.

With a time limit looming, the two begin working to rebuild the aquarium.

To protect an irreplaceable place, a warm haven.
