If Osamu Tezuka were alive today, I am sure he would be very pleased with this exhibition. I hope that everyone will be able to remember Tezuka Osamu as they look at the manuscripts from that time.

Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ said, "I helped with the background of the snowstorm in the final episode of Jungle Emperor. I am happy that the manuscript was not redrawn by Mr. Tezuka and remains in the museum today, as if I had been recognized. The manuscript is now on display, so please take a look."

<Exhibition Overview
Mr. Osamu Tezuka lived at "Tokiwaso" for just under two years, from early 1953 to October 1954. The only manga artist who lived at Tokiwa-so at the same time was Hiroo Terada, and no one could have imagined that he would later become known as "Ryozan-domari" of manga artists. For this reason, Mr. Tezuka refers to his time at Tokiwaso as the "prehistory of Tokiwaso.
In this exhibition, we will introduce Tezuka's works and episodes from this pre-Tokiwaso period, using handwritten manuscripts and other materials. We will also introduce the process by which Tezuka moved from Kansai to Tokyo, his interaction with the manga artists of Tokiwaso after he moved out of Tokiwaso, and other topics such as the "history of Tokiwa-so and Osamu Tezuka" will be introduced with his handwritten manuscripts.
