TV anime "Getter Robo Arc" to air in July! Starring Yuma Uchida! Casting information, new key visuals, PV, and theme song information were announced!

The TV anime "Getter Robo Arc" will start airing in July this year. The first part of the cast was revealed today.

Getter Robo Arc" is the final work of the "Getter Robo Saga," which began in 1974 with the manga "Getter Robo" by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa.

The "Getter Robo Saga" is the collective name for the various "Getter Robo" works that began with "Getter Robo. The original "Getter Robo" set a milestone for combined transformable robots. The spirit of "Combined Transformable Robot" was inherited by many subsequent works. Getter Robo" was followed by "Getter Robo G" (1975~), "Getter Robo No." (1991~), "Shin Getter Robo" (1997~), and in 2001, "Getter Robo Arc" was serialized in "Super Robot Magazine," an additional issue of Futabasha's Action Pizzazz magazine.
After that, Ken Ishikawa passed away suddenly. Both "Getter Robot Arc" and "Getter Robot Saga" had become unfinished masterpieces, but it was announced that "Getter Robot Arc" was to be revived.

The first cast members of the TV anime "Getter Robo Arc," which will start airing in July this year, have been revealed.
Yuma Uchida plays Takuma Nagare, the main character aboard the Getter Robot, while Zurimaro Mukono plays Kamui Sho and Kazuhiro Suneishi plays Baku Yamagishi. In addition, the role of Hayato Kami will be played by Makoto (Change!!!). Naoya Uchida, who also played the same role in the "Getter Robo" series including "Getter Robo: The Last Day of the World" (1998-), will play Hayato Kami.

A new key visual has also been unveiled. The three members of the "Getter Team" aboard the "Getter Robot" are gathered together, with Hayato Kami issuing commands and the lead mecha "Getter Arc" behind them.

A second PV featuring new cuts was also released at the same time.
A new song by JAM Project, "Bloodlines ~Bloodlines of Destiny~" has been chosen as the opening theme for the film.

In addition, "Getter Robo Arc" cast announcement commemorative online talk event" will be held on April 17 (Sat.) from 5:00 p.m. Yuma Uchida, who plays Takuma Nagare, the main character of this work, and "True (Change!) Getter Robo: The Last Day of the World" and Hideo Ishikawa, who played the main character Ryoma Nagare in "Shin (Change!) Getter Robo: The Last Day of the World" and other films, will appear in the event. Hideyuki Motohashi, who is in charge of character design for this film, and Yoshinaga Minami, who was involved in all OVA versions and is the animation producer for this film, will also participate. The opening theme of this work, "Bloodlines ~Bloodlines of Destiny~" by JAM Project (lyrics and music by Hironobu Kageyama, arrangement by Shiho Terada and Yoshichika Kuriyama) will also be released on CD on July 14 (Wednesday).
