Live-action feature film "Mobile Suit Gundam" will be distributed on Netflix! Directed by Jordan Vaught-Roberts of "King Kong: Giant God of Skulls

Netflix announced on April 12 that it will distribute "GUNDAM forNetflix," a live-action feature film of "Mobile Suit Gundam.

This live-action film is based on the iconic Japanese robot animation "Mobile Suit Gundam" and will be produced by Legendary Pictures, which has produced many hit live-action films in Japan, including the "Pacific Rim" series, "Detective Pikachu" and "Godzilla: King of Monsters".

Directed by Jordan Vaught-Roberts, who also directed "Kings of Summer" and "King Kong: Skull Island.
The screenplay is by Brian K. Vaughn, who has worked on a number of Marvel Comics scripts and participated in the scenario for the popular drama "Lost.
Sunrise, the Japanese copyright holder, is also involved in the production.

In China, Legendary Pictures plans to release the film in theaters.

The first live-action Gundam movie is the TV drama "G-SAVIOUR," which was released in 2000. Will it take place in the space century, or will it be another story? Or will it be a live-action film based on the anime, or will it be a completely original work?
