MAPPA x Netflix original anime "Yasuke" reveals Japanese cast! Teaser PV and new scene photos also arrived!

The Japanese cast and Japanese teaser PV have been released from the Netflix original anime series "Yasuke," which will be distributed exclusively worldwide from April 29, 2021.

Yasuke" is a Netflix original anime series consisting of six episodes. It is written, produced, and directed by Rashon Thomas, and is his second Netflix animated series, following his previous work "Canon Busters. Animation production will be handled by MAPPA, which has received high acclaim both domestically and internationally for its "Doro Hedoro," "Shinkage no Kyojin The Final Season," and "Jujutsu Kaisen. The character design is by Ken Koike ("LUPIN the Third: The Woman Named Fujiko Mine").

The Japanese cast of the film has now been revealed.
The main character Yasuke will be played by Jun Soejima. The role of Nobunaga Oda will be played by actor Takehiro Hira, who also plays the role in the English version, Ureshiko Tamura as Sakiki, a girl with mysterious powers, Ryoko Sakakibara as a dark lord who manipulates terrifying powers, Fusako Urabe as Natsumaru, who served Nobunaga Oda with Yosuke, Shigeru Ushiyama as Abraham, a priest who targets Sakiki, Tasuku Kamio as Morisuke, a warrior who survived the Warring States period, and Tasuku Kamio as a warrior in the service of Abraham. Eri Kitamura plays Ishikawa, a mercenary army hired by Abraham, Kenji Kitamura plays Achouja, Shunsuke Kubozuka plays Haruto, Hiroki Nanami plays Nikita, and Rie Tanaka plays Ikka, Sakiki's mother.

New scene photos were also released. The new scene photos show Nobunaga Oda and other characters with distinctive personalities, and it will be exciting to see what they will do in this completely new action fantasy period drama.

The Netflix original anime series "Yasuke" will be released exclusively worldwide on Netflix on Thursday, April 29.
