The TV anime "G Reconguista" is set in the "Regild Century (R.C.)", which can be called the post space century, and was directed and written by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the original writer of "Mobile Suit Gundam". The work has been re-edited as a theatrical version with many new cuts, and Parts 1 and 2 have been released so far.

The third part, "G Reconguista III" "Legacy from Outer Space," will be released on July 22, 2021 (Thursday, national holiday) on a nationwide roadshow!

The third part of the theatrical version of "G Reconguista" will be released soon. Thanks to the fact that "G-RECO" was basically a cheerful film for children to watch, it proved to have the endurance to continue regardless of the Corona disaster or anything else. In this sense, I am reminded that it is the audience that makes it possible for me to create animated works, and I am truly rejuvenated. Part 3, "Legacy from Outer Space," is a story about going out into space in earnest. It's a story that shouldn't be done in an anime, but it's interesting (laughs)!　 As you all know, we are prepared for the corona disaster to continue for another year yet. I am somewhat concerned about what would happen if the staff who make the product contracted an infectious disease, but on the contrary, it happens that the work keeps me healthy. We use our work to maintain our health, and everyone feels good by accomplishing their tasks. That is the basic concept of "G-reco," so please look forward to not only Part 3, but also Parts 4 and 5!　Grandpa, I'll do my best!

Following Parts 1 and 2, which were screened in November 2019 and February 2020, respectively, Part 3 has been revived as a hyper-enhanced work with even more new cuts. Here is a story of young people vividly living through the times!

＜Synopsis
Story of I & II
　The year is 1014 R.C., a time when a lot of science, technology and knowledge were lost due to the space war. However, there were signs of a gradual revival, supported by the Capital Tower, which supplies all energy on the earth. One day, Berri, a candidate for the Capital Guard, meets Aida, a space pirate girl who attacks the tower with the mysterious MS "G-Self. Attracted by Aida, Berri gets caught up in her actions and ends up aboard the "Mega Fauna," the mother ship of the pirate squadron. There, Berri becomes the pilot of the G-Self, and fights off the relentless attacks of the military organization, the Capital Army, time and again. Meanwhile, the great nation of Amelia forms a space fleet and launches a sortie to suppress the Capital Tower. The space pirates, who had been a covert unit of the Amerian army, followed suit, and Berri, Aida, and the others flew out into space. In the midst of the fierce battle outside the atmosphere, the Amelia forces, followed by the Capital Army and the Megafauna, reach St. Port, the top of the Capital Tower.

Story of III
　Suddenly, the Amelian navigational ships in St. Porto are attacked. This was because the space colony nation of Twasanga had launched Operation "Reconguista" to return to Earth. Four forces from inside and outside of Earth gather in St. Porto, each claiming their own rights and fighting over opinions. Aida, seeking the truth, decides to go to Twasanga with Berri and her friends. And in Twasanga, on the far side of the moon, a shocking revelation is revealed to Berri and Aida. ......
