As mentioned above, Mr. Matsumoto is also known for singing "Alive A lie," the OP theme song for "Masked Rider Ryuki. This song was the first OP theme by a female singer for the "Masked Rider" series, and she recalled that she sang it with a sense of responsibility, being told that "if I mess up, there will be no women (theme songs in the future).

He also felt a sense of being allowed to work on a work that his late brother had loved. "I had the feeling that my brother had brought me "Rider," so I sang the song as a way of repaying him," he said, "I wanted to bring cheer to him," he said, describing his feelings at the time.
