Isekai Shokudo" TV Anime 2nd Season Production Announced! Director Masato Jimbo, Junichi Suwabe, Sumire Uesaka, and Saori Onishi's congratulatory comments are now available!

The second season of the TV anime "Isekai Shokudo," which aired in 2017 and was well received by viewers, including being ranked No. 1 in the d-Anime Store's July 2017 cool viewer count, is now in production.

Isekai Shokudo" is a popular novel by Junpei Inuzuka (illustrated by Enami Matsumi) that was serialized on the website "Shosetsu-ka Naro" and published in book form by "Hero Bunko" (published by Shufunotomo). It is a fantasy work that depicts a once-in-a-lifetime encounter between various people who visit Nekoya, the owner, and the food, set in a "Western-style cat shop," which is an ordinary Western-style restaurant that could be found anywhere at first glance, but has a door that leads to another world only once a week.

The owner of the long-established diner "Yosoku no Nekoya", located on the basement floor of a building in a corner of the shopping arcade.
He inherited the restaurant from his grandfather ten years ago.
His wide range of dishes includes not only Western cuisine, but also Japanese, Chinese, desserts, and more.

Aletta (CV: Uesaka Sumire)

Aretta is a demon girl who was lost looking for work, but one day she wandered into "Nekoya," a Western-style restaurant, and ended up working there.
Through an encounter at the restaurant, she is now finding work in her former world.
She looks forward to the owner's meals.

Kuro (CV: Saori Onishi)

Like Aletta, Kuro is an incarnation of a black dragon who works at Nekoya.
When she comes to Nekoya, she changes her appearance to that of an elf girl and uses her telepathic powers to communicate. She is crazy about her favorite dish, chicken curry.
