PS5 version of "Harakami" to be released on April 28! Interview with the developer is available!

miHoYo, Inc. has released a video interview with the developer of the multi-platform open world RPG "Genshin Impact" regarding the release of the PS5 version.

Genshin Impact" is a new generation open world RPG that combines anime-like high-end 3D graphics with an open world feel, and is available for PS4, PC, and smartphones (iOS and Android). Players can not only explore the vast world by themselves, but also enjoy cross-platform multiplayer adventures with their friends.

A video interview with the developer about the PS5 version of the game, scheduled for release on April 28, has been released.

The video shows how "Genshin Impact" incorporates the benefits of the new generation of consoles and how they have taken the open world play experience to the next level. Through improved texture mapping resolution and a redesigned graphics library from the ground up, the game's world of Taywatt has been made more vivid and lifelike with richer and crisper details.

In addition, a file loading system tailored to the PS5's high-performance SSD has been designed to shorten loading times and ensure a smooth play experience. One of Rigetsu's most famous areas, "Keiun Summit," has also been reincarnated, and the PS5 version offers an exclusive taste of this scenery.
