Shota Aoi to be the image character of Otsuchi Station! Designed by Yone Kazuki of "Hakuouki" fame!

Shota Aoi, a voice actor belonging to S Corporation, has been chosen to play the role of "Otsuchi Kai," the image character of Otsuchi Station.

On Friday, April 23, it was announced at a press conference that Otsuchi Town will produce an animated short film to promote the town.

Shota Aoi, a voice actor who has played the role of Ai Mifu in the "Uta no Prince Sama!" series and Fish-Eye in "Sailor Moon Eternal" Part 1, as well as an artist and musical actor, has been cast as the character "Otsuchi Kai," the image character of Otsuchi Station. The character was designed by Shota Aoi, who also plays the role of "Hakuouki".

The character is designed by illustrator Kazuki Yone, known for his work on the "Hakuouki" series. The project has started with the aim of releasing an animated short film this fall.

Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture, launches a PR project utilizing its image character "Otsuchi Kai

At a press conference held on Friday, April 23, Otsuchi Mayor Kozo Hirano announced a project to promote the town of Otsuchi by producing a short animated film utilizing the Otsuchi Kai, the image character of Otsuchi Station, to be released in the fall of this year.

Mayor Hirano expressed his enthusiasm for the project, which is intended to promote the town both domestically and internationally, and to work with the town's commerce, industry, tourism, lodging, dining, retail, and other merchants to create a sustainable entertainment content initiative.

The Mayor also emphasized that this project is a response to the physical blockage of traffic caused by the Corona disaster, which has drastically changed the nature of commerce and consumer behavior.
