TV anime "Kingdom," episode 5 "Rise of the Young General" synopsis and advance scene cuts released!

The synopsis and advance scene cuts for the fifth episode of the TV anime "Kingdom," the third series of which airs every Sunday from 24:10 on NHK Sogo, have been released.

This is a TV animation of the manga "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara, which is serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (published by Shueisha). The first series of the TV anime was broadcast on NHK BS Premium from June 2012 to February 2013, and the second series from June 2013 to March 2014. The second series was broadcast from June 2013 to March 2014.

The third series, which depicts the largest scale battle in the history of "Kingdom," resumed broadcasting from the first episode on April 4, 2021 (Sunday), although the broadcasting of the fifth and later episodes had been postponed.

<Synopsis
The Wei army's general, Wu Fengming, has built a new type of guardrail vehicle, which has plunged Hakogokan into a state of crisis. However, General Hwan-ki, standing in the watchtower, looks on with a fearless smile.
Meanwhile, in the allied forces of Mongwu and Teng against the large forces of the Chuxian army, the usually fiery Mongwu was quietly watching the battle situation.
