The latest archive and academic book VII "Abandonment" is now available for Dead by Daylight (PS4/Switch), the horror survival game that has shaken 30 million people worldwide. Other new information has also arrived.

Today, Academic Book VII "Abandonment" has been released, and an official trailer for various new contents has been released on the official Dead by Daylight YouTube channel.

In addition, as a continuation of the "Realm Beyond" project, a large-scale in-game graphic update project that has been ongoing since last fall, information on the distribution of a new skin, created in collaboration with "Crypt TV," which is expanding the fan community for horror content overseas, has also been released. New Academic Book VII "Abandonment"

This academic book tells the story of William "Bill" Overbeck's past and the background of his encounter with the "Left 4 Dead" gang. Players can unlock never-before-told events that took place weeks before the battle against the "Left 4 Dead" infected (zombies), take on new challenges, and earn free amulets designed around the "Left 4 Dead" theme for survivors or killers.

New Bluegriff Challenge:
A new type of challenge is introduced in the latest academic book: the Glyph Challenge, which allows players to call up new interactive items within a match.
When a survivor finds a Blue Glyph and activates the risk, they are forced to flee with a random weakening, bringing an additional challenge. Players can test their skills and game play or avoid taking on additional challenges.

■ Huntress: The Mordeo

The Mordeo are a special section of the forest where a race of demons are born when humans cannibalize each other.

In "Dead by Daylight," red color highlighting was used to identify important elements of the game, such as scars, generators, and hooks, but when combined with dark environments, it was difficult for those affected by color blindness to enjoy the game. With this improvement, it will be possible to adjust the visibility by implementing the ability to adjust the color type and intensity using a simple slider in the graphics settings menu.
