Netflix Anime "Spriggan" Teaser Visual #2 Released! Official website and Twitter are also open!

The second teaser visual for the Netflix original anime series "Spriggan," scheduled for distribution in 2021, has been released. In addition, the anime's official website and Twitter account have also been opened.

Spriggan" (original story: Space Takashige / drawing: Ryoji Minagawa) was serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" (published by Shogakukan) from 1989 to 1996 and became a legendary manga that took the 90s by storm.
In 1998, it was made into an animated film. In 2021, david production has decided to produce an anime as a Netflix original anime series.

The story is an adventure action drama about a boy, Yuu Mikinae, who works as a special agent "Sprigan" for "Arkham", which was established to seal the legacy of a super-ancient civilization. Directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi of "Hizune and Masotan" and "Kiznaver", series composition and script by Koji Seko of "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "BANANA FISH", character design and chief animation director by Shuhei Handa of "Little Witch Academia", and full use of 2D drawing and 3DCG The new film is full of action and ancient romance with 2D drawings and 3DCG.

The second teaser visual has now been released. It depicts a large image of Yuu Mikamiinae (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi), a boy who is on the run as "Spriggan. The catch copy is "The secrets of super civilization have been entrusted to these people.

The background, reminiscent of the world of the comics, depicts the legacy of a super-ancient civilization and characters such as Jean-Jacques Monde, Yoshino Somei, Koichi Moroha, and Iwao Satoru, making this a visual that will keep fans guessing and anticipating the anime adaptation.

Additional staff members were also revealed. Shohei Miyake will serve as assistant director, JNTHED as production designer, Norihito Ishii as CG director, Osamu Mikasa as color designer, Yuji Kaneko as art director, and Yosuke Motoki as director of photography.
