Second season of TV anime "Made in Abyss: Golden Land of the Rising Sun" to air in 2022! The movie version will also be distributed on May 8 (Sat.)!

New information about the sequel to the anime "Made in Abyss" has arrived. In addition, the movie version of "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul" will be distributed independently on ABEMA from 7:30 p.m. on May 8, 2021 (Saturday).

Made in Abyss" is a dark fantasy serialized in "Comic Gamma" by Akihito Tsukushi. The story is set in the Abyss, a huge cavern, and Oath, a city built on the edge of the Abyss. The adventures of Riko, a girl who aspires to become a great "explorer," are depicted with a radical development that belies its illustrations and has attracted a lot of attention.

The TV anime version was adapted into a TV anime in 2017, followed by the theater versions of "Made in Abyss [Part 1] The Dawn of Departure" and "Made in Abyss [Part 2] Wandering Dusk" in 2019, and "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul" in January 2020. A game adaptation for PS4, Switch, and PC was also announced for May 2021.

It has been decided that the sequel to the anime "Made in Abyss" will be broadcast in 2022 as the second season of the TV anime. The title is "Made in Abyss: Golden Land of the Rising Sun" and a teaser visual has been released.

The movie version "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul" will be distributed on ABEMA on May 8 (Sat)! All episodes of the TV anime will also be distributed for free until May 16 (Sun.)!

On May 8, 2021, "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Souls" will be distributed independently on ABEMA's "Anime LIVE Channel" from 7:30 p.m. onwards. Also, all episodes of TV anime "Made in Abyss" will be distributed for free on "ABEMA Video" until May 16, 2021 (Sun.) at 4pm.
