Cast comments (in Japanese only)

Aoi Koga (as Glass Komi)

Q1: What was your impression of this work?
First of all, when I picked up the work, I looked at the title and the cover picture and thought, "Oh, there's something about this girl. This work has something unique. The cover alone had an intriguing impact on me.
The title, "Ms. Furumi is a comic book fanatic. I thought it was interesting that there was a catchphrase like "Ms. Furumi is a comic. I found myself reading on and on, empathizing so much with the realism of situations that many of us have experienced during our school days.
There are many characters with strong "personalities," but the parts of me that I tend to see in a negative light, the parts that I don't want others to see or know about, are portrayed as "personalities" in a positive way in this work, making me think, "Maybe I can accept myself like this... It is the kind of work that gives courage to those who are struggling.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
From the outside, she is a cool and beautiful woman who everyone admires. In reality, however, she is not very good at communicating with others, and when she is approached by someone, she scares them even though she doesn't mean to. She really wants to get along with others, but she can't get her words out. The more I got to know her, the more I was attracted to her. (The more I got to know her, the more I felt that way, and I became completely addicted to her charms.)
Whenever I see Ms. Furumi, she always gives me courage, and I think she has the power to make many people's hearts warm and fuzzy naturally. I will do my best to show her moving forward slowly but firmly, one step at a time, and to weave her feelings and warmth into the few words she says.

Takehito Kajiwara (Actor: Hitoto Tadano)
Q1: What is your impression of this film?
Mr. Furumi is really adorable... I am always intensely moved by his clumsy but gradual expression of his emotions as I read the original story! I am always intensely moved as I read the original story. In addition to Mr. Furumi, all the other characters have their own distinctive personalities, which reminds me of my own high school days and makes me imagine how happy my school life would be if I had friends like them around me... (laugh). I especially like to see them at seasonal school events and festivals, and I can't help but cry as I read them, thinking back to my school days, which I can never go back to... ugh..! Also, personally, the covers are always so beautiful! I am so impressed! Thank you so much, Mr. Oda!

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
I think Nito is a boy who has the goodness of being normal! He is a boy who has a good quality because he is normal! It reminds me of my own school days. (Laughs)
(Laughs.) I was actually a little bit aggressive myself once, but then I realized how bad I was and went back to the way I was, so I felt sympathy for him while reading this book! But I'm a bit of a communicator myself, so I admire someone like Nito who treats me like a normal person....
Every time I read the book, I fall in love with him more and more, so I will do my best to make my performance as attractive as possible!

Rie Murakawa (Playing the role of Nami Nagana)
Q1: What is your impression of this work?
I felt that one of the charms of this work is that it depicts human characters in a way that makes you cackle at the fun of the gags and tears of laughter turn into tears of emotion, and moreover, that these human characters are depicted with great care. I think everyone wants to watch Ms. Furumi's dreams come true, but I also think that watching her grow up is one of the real pleasures of the show.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you are playing and your enthusiasm for the role?
I will be playing a character named Nagana Nami, who is a mysterious and strong character with special abilities, and also possesses tremendous communication skills. I hope that I can bring out the character's unique personality. I don't know how it will turn out now because I haven't recorded it yet, but I'm happy to be involved in "Furumi-san is a commie. I will do my best so that everyone can enjoy it!

The anime "Mr. Furumi has a comusis" is scheduled to start airing in October. !
Finally...finally..!

In my English class, I said, "My goal is to have my manga become a media mix. (fluent English)" in English class.
I can now remember the embarrassing time when I said in English class, "My goal is to get my manga into the media mix.
I may not have been fluent!

So many people are involved in this project!
Furumi-san, who started out with just me and her editor, is now working with the help of many people!
It's amazing! This is! Is this a dream!

To be honest, I am extremely anxious about entrusting my characters to other people.
In anime, which deals with more information than manga, the voice, the way they speak, intonation, mannerisms, pauses, etc.
I need various people to think about things that I haven't thought about.
There will be a lot of gaps in perception.
But I'm sure it will be fine as long as I listen to what the director has to say! I leave it to you!

Autumn Anime! Furumi-san is a commie. I'm so excited!
Let's wait for the broadcast date together, with a lot of anticipation and anxiety in our hearts, shall we?

...a little bit! Hey, please stay with me! I'm afraid of being alone!

What is "commu-syndrome"?
A condition that makes it difficult to socialize with others. Or, it refers to a person who has such a symptom.

It should be noted that...
It is important to note that just because a person is not good at socializing does not mean that he or she does not want to be involved with other people.

In the first year of high school, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, Furumi, who is extremely communicative, meets Tadano, a classmate who is "too normal" for her.

Ms. Furumi, who gets nervous in front of others, dreams of "making 100 friends.
Tadano becomes Furumi's "first friend" and helps her make friends with the remaining 99 students.

Will Mr. Furumi's dream come true in a high school full of unique individuals?

I want to tell her, but I can't... I'm nervous, I'm excited, and I can't help but smirk.
But sometimes, it pricks you in the chest...?
This is a comedy about a silent beautiful girl, Ms. Furumi, who is a comic.
