Spike Chunsoft will release the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of "Metro Exodus," a survival shooter developed by 4A Games, in Japan on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

The "Metro" series is a survival shooter set in the city of Moscow, which has been devastated by nuclear war, and the Moscow Metro, where those who escaped the devastation live. The latest title in the series, "Metro Exodus" for PS4 and Xbox One, was released in February 2019.

The PS5 version of "Metro Exodus" is also optimized for next-generation hardware, running at 4K resolution at 60fps, with realistic lighting and reflections, and various adjustments to make it more beautiful and more comfortable to play.

In addition, the PS5 version includes adaptive triggers and 3D audio support, while the Xbox Series
