As the 40th anniversary of the broadcast of Sunrise's original anime "Fang of the Sun Dougram," a comic version of the series will be distributed. The TV series will also be distributed for free on YouTube.

Sunrise's original anime "Fang of the Sun Dougram" celebrated its 40th anniversary since its TV broadcast in 1981, and various plans are underway such as comic adaptation, free distribution, and new products so that many people can experience the popular "Fang of the Sun Dougram".

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of its broadcast, Sunrise and Shogakukan have teamed up to create a comic adaptation of "Fang of the Sun Dougram. Under the supervision of Ryosuke Takahashi, the original writer and director, and by Yasuo Otagaki, the manga artist, the work of the best of real robots will be revived here and now.

<Synopsis
　Deloia, a planet in the Staferus system, is in turmoil as it seeks to free itself from 150 years of domination by the Earth Federation government. People organize themselves into the People's Liberation Army, and young people throw themselves into the guerrillas to fight for freedom and independence.
　One of the young men, calling themselves "Fang of the Sun," was waiting to attack a military train when they were attacked by the federal army. They were caught in the enemy's trap. Klin Qasim, a 17-year-old boy who is piloting a new type of combat armor called "Dougram," narrowly escapes this crisis by working in coordination with his comrades.
　However, the news of the mission's failure is received by Donan Qasim, a high-ranking official of the federal government, and Klin's father. Despite being born into a prominent family on Earth, when Klin learns of his father's plot, he abandons everything and seeks his own path in the fight for Deloittean independence.
