Square Enix announced that the number of pre-registrations for "Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken - Bond of Souls", a game app for smartphones scheduled for distribution in 2021, exceeded 500,000 worldwide as of May 12, 2012. A message from the development and operation team was released.

DRAGON QUEST Dai no Daiboken -Kizuna no Kizuna-" is an exhilarating RPG for smartphones that allows players to relive the world of "DRAGON QUEST Dai no Daiboken". The game features easy-to-use, exhilarating battles in which players push their way through a field of three lanes, defeating enemies along the way, along with their friends "Dai," "Pop," "Maam," and others.
The "Avant Rush" and other techniques of the die will also be fully recreated with the latest 3D animation.
