Here are some of the comments from celebrities who have seen the film.

Comments

Anna Tsuchiya (Artist)
I couldn't stop crying. The earth is screaming about environmental destruction and global warming. Maybe it would have been better if there had been no human beings. But this animation teaches us. What is the beauty of human beings? What human beings should be like. Never before has there been a work that so beautifully depicts the relationship between robots and humans. Thank you for this work.

Teruyuki Tsuchida (TV personality)
I think it is really important to have a "home" where we live with our family. When you think about it, the "home" for all of us is "the earth," isn't it? Humans are selfish creatures, but we cannot live alone. We must think deeply about this precious "earth" for the sake of our loved ones. I hope you will watch this film with your family and talk about many things with them.

Moga Mogami (TV personality)
I think not knowing is, in a sense, a blessing. Even someone's "right answer" can be "wrong" for someone else. Human emotions are very complex, strong and weak. What would you do if you lost something important? If you don't lose something, you will never know what you would do. I thought I would not be able to answer that question immediately. It was a work that made me ask myself what I should do "as a human being" and made me think about it every episode.

Suzu Yamanouchi (Actress)
It was an animation that made me think, "Are human beings really necessary? This animation made me think about the question, "Are human beings really necessary? If environmental pollution continues to progress at the current rate, I am sure that the world we live in will be just like the "painted Eden" in a few decades or centuries from now.

Maury Robertson, international journalist
Humanity has become unsustainable. In the future, a paradise will be run by robots unencumbered by human irrationality. Only one human girl is born there, from a capsule. Sarah is a good girl. Please take care of humanity. This is a story that poses a question to us today.

Miyamoto Akon (Director)
Another masterpiece has been born in the world of Japanese animation. The story of robots and humans on an earth that has collapsed due to the arrogance of mankind is even more deeply moving now that the Corona disaster has struck. The vivid beauty of the images and the lovable protagonist, Sarah, make this a masterpiece that you will want to see again and again. A masterpiece that you will want to watch again and again. Are humans harmful? Can humans be good? We must confront this eternal theme now more than ever.

Ken Noguchi, alpinist
In environmental issues, "Wa (circle)" is important. The connection between people and the harmony between people and nature. Humans can destroy, but they can also restore. However, it may take decades or centuries to restore nature. I only hope that human beings can live in peace on this nature-rich earth forever.

Eko Noguchi (high school student)
Robots, which are supposed to have no feelings, start to care for each other like a real parent and child by raising a baby. What we take for granted now will not be there forever. This is the kind of story that reminds us of what is important and precious to us. I hope you will watch it with your loved ones.
